Isaiah Wilson is clearly a fucking idiot. But, he is a fucking idiot with a TON of talent. If we could lock him up for a few years on the cheap and glue him to Big Whitt....could he save his career? Could we find a future starter there? He is going to be cheap. Why not try? Buy. If so, I lock him up for a few years. Not only one. In case he turns it around I don't want him to walk.

Just a thought. What say you? Can he be saved? Who better to help him turn it around?

There's no saving Isaiah Wilson. Miami tried with the guy. Instead of doing what they asked of him and accepting help, he posted videos of himself on social media partying (ex. dancing on top of a car shirtless) and blew off their requests. He's not a guy I'd want anywhere near my locker room.

Wilson has to want to save his career first and foremost. He was gifted a second chance to go to a new team and start over and just pissed it away.

I just think it's worth a look. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Give him no guaranteed money, and a zero tolerance policy. Idk. He seems like a fuckin idiot. Has anyone been this fucked up, this early in their careers?

I'd just like to know how a fuck up like this got drafted in the 1st round. There should be no more secrets about recruits in this day and age.

I was wondering the same thing. How does that happen?

Again why is everyone unsavable? He is 22 and we all did stupid shit at 22. When you add a big signing bonus it could be a recipe for disaster.

AB was salvageable and had done worse than Wilson. Like I said in my thread and others posts something happened to him because the Titans vetted him and his Georgia HC sang his praises. Players don't work this hard to throw it all away that makes no sense

Stop with this guy is toast and with a year of guidance with no expectations maybe on the PS to me it is worth it - I totally agree with the OP.

Ike I have said he was heavily vetted and his college coach loved him. Something happened like I have said maybe it was the money, the pressure or something else idk but something changed.

The first requirement to change is want too. I personally think the Rams would be better off letting another team undergo that experiment and not mess with this teams chemistry. " One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch". I hope the Seahawks pick him.

When someone shows you who they are, you are best to believe them.

The Dolphins agreed to acquire Isaiah Wilson about three weeks ago. He was officially traded on March 17th. They cut him on March 20th after he missed multiple workouts and showed up late to the physical. On social media, he posted multiple videos of himself partying. Could Wilson be "salvageable" at some point in the future? Maybe. If he matures, maybe he'll be worth a shot. But right now, no. He's a cancer who will be a bad influence on other young players. The guy was a constant problem his entire rookie year in Tennessee. He was immediately a problem in Miami. Keep him away from the Rams.

Like I said in my thread and others posts something happened to him because the Titans vetted him and his Georgia HC sang his praises. Players don't work this hard to throw it all away that makes no sense

Wilson put on a good face for the draft process, got paid, and then went right back to being immature. Problem now is that he's no longer grinding for money. He got paid. And like so many others, once he got paid, he stopped caring. Plenty of players have worked hard and then thrown it all away once they got their money.

Sounds like this guy needs a whole lot more than a dedicated veteran to mentor him and provide a good example.

This was a first round draft choice that didn’t last ten months in Tennessee. Remember, the Titans were coming off an AFC Championship Game but lost their starting RT Jack Conklin in Free Agency. So they drafted for a position of need when selecting Wilson.

10 months in Tennessee.
10 days with Miami. Not a good sign.
