My opinion differs from others. I feel Lynch would be a valuable jewel if we just have to let him come into his own while we play Keenum/Mannion. IMO that's well worth it for the fruits to come for years.
I've been in it since about a week or two before free agency that I felt like we were priming ourselves to move up into position to draft Goff or Wentz. This draft is for the alternative ok where I see us getting very good value and feeling a position of need at the same time or creating competition. without further adoo LEEEEET ITTT BEEEEEGGGGIIIIIN!

Rams see Goff and Wentz got 2 and 4 to the Browns and Cowboys/Niners and deal couldn't be worked out. We stay pat and draft...

Paxton Lynch #15 Round 1 QB Memphis

Michael Thomas #43 Round 2 WR Ohio State
My second favorite WR in the draft (even though he's a Buckeye :( )and I'm sorry he reminds me not only of a clone of Isaac Bruce but very similar in game play as well and even demeanor off the field. Great hands, great route runner, not overly fast but quick in and out of breaks and always ends up in the best position for his QB. Imagine Britt, Thomas, and Tavon with Gurley in the backfield?

Nick Martin #45 Round 2 C Notre Dame
If Your like me you absolutely got tired of seeing everybody on the line last year hold up or decently hold up on a play and we got blown up in the middle. By here and now that %$&# STOPS! And usually NFL blood lines hold true and with us wanting to take Zach Martin a few years back it's time we take his brother and shore up our line for QB and Gurley for years to come!

Austin Hooper #76 3rd Round TE, Stanford
In this selection Hooper fell jsut a bit since he a projected late round 2 to early to mid round 3rd. Hopefully just as a rookie we can get him to produce what Cookie did for us and with room to develop.

James Bradberry #107 Round 4 CB Samford
This guy James Bradberry from Samford seems pretty damn tough and would be a perfect project round depth player at CB which i could see Fisher and Co. do. He's very physical and hard nosed my biggest question is his level of completion and how he competes with others with more physical talent. Good 4-5th string CB and good potential to take a FS role.

Ka'imi Fairbairn #172 Round 6 K UCLA

Greg the Leg... time for some competetion brah!

I'd love this draft.
Me to and honestly I think out position groups would be the strongest with these adds to! D Line is strong and good to go, or LB core is because how we use Barron, our secondary is good to go with who we have in the wings, Gaines coming back, and Sensabough here.

The position groups that needs the most improvement are QB, WR, andTE/O Line. This draft adds quality in the perfect spots.

plus IMO it's time for G Yeezy to go. It's put up or shut up time!

I thought we didn't have a 4 and 6... Or did I mess that up?

Was the 4 and 6 for Barron last year?

We ended up making trades to recoup picks in each of those rounds last year as well. We got a 4th in the Bradford-Foles trade. And when we traded with Carolina we got their 6th.

I like this mock even though I hate Stanford and Notre Dame. I'm not even convinced Lynch won't be a bust. But this draft just screams "smart", it's not trying to be cute, it's hitting every need with a quality prospect. I even like the kicker choice, although I'm still not entirely convinced it's necessary to draft a kicker. The Rams brought in the most accurate kicker in college football history (Brett Baer) a few years ago to compete against GZ and he was a free agent.

I'm not sold on Lynch myself but honestly if it rolled out this way I'd be pretty happy. Nice work.

Love it.
Only thing I'd change is to grab an available vet kicker vs using a draft pick on one

Staying at 15 and hoping Lynch is there is risky but if the Rams do that and get him it will make their draft. So I love this draft simply because they managed to get him right there at the top and put some real effin talent in their QB room. From there I am a big fan of them addressing Center too, ensuring Keenum and his popgun arm have a good pocket to step up in. But you also added Thomas and Hooper as weapons and also took Fairbairn in round 6 which would be excellent.

So as we say in the Navy: BZ..!! One of my favorite mocks that I've seen. If I had to knock it I'd say I'm not the biggest fan of Thomas in comparison to some others, but he's big, physical, and can catch so I'll take him.

I love it too. Thomas might not be there, but there will be a WR there worth taking IMO.
