Thank you for posting that. So very disappointing. With all the data compiled that was overlooked by the Rams.:banghead:

It may have truly been an unconscious tell where McVay's preference dictated within personnel groups which plays they'd had success with or how he wanted to attack the defense.

However, Belichick did the Rams a HUGE favor because you can't fix what you don't know is broken. It would have been terrible for McVay to enter this season not realizing he had a tell and insert the offense for this season only to realize that he had to create potentially significant changes during the season while the offense struggled.

What it means is that (and I'm hoping it works out this way) is that McVay will work harder to incorporate the 2 TE sets (Everett when given the chance has become a helluva TE especially fighting for yards after the catch and Higbee is pretty darn good also) so as to create more diversity in the offense.

At the very least, McVay can manage that detail so as to keep defenses guessing.

Last year was all I needed to see to believe that Kupp is our best WR and right there with Todd in terms of most valuable offensive weapon.

Having him back will be huge - and hopefully we have him all season. Had he never got hurt last year, we'd be Super Bowl champs, no doubt in my mind.

To think how far we went without Kupp has got to give us a good feeling for how far we can go with him.

Kupp will not be placed on PUP list

There’s good news on wide receiver Cooper Kupp, as the wide receiver will not be placed on the physically unable perform list to start training camp.

The news was first reported by Steve Wyche of NFL Network.

Good news for the @RamsNFL . WR @CooperKupp will not be placed on PUP when training camp opens later this week, according to the team. It has been a long recovery from knee surgery but he has been cleared. His work load will be measured.

Wyche also reported that Kupp’s workload will be tempered to begin camp.

Kupp tore his ACL during Los Angeles’ Week 10 victory over Seattle last year, but had made great strides in his recovery to even moderately participate in the club’s offseason program activities. Kupp would participate in the jog-thru portions of practice during OTAs, and work with trainers on the side.

Los Angeles’ first practice is scheduled for 4 p.m. at UC Irvine on Saturday.
