So we started early Sunday morning. I'm guessing that I had consumed around a half gallon of liquids from the time I'd gotten up until halftime. LOL So I'm standing in a long line that is starting well outside of the men's room as soon as halftime started.
I couldn't help but notice that the guy standing right in front of me in line closely resembles a certain Ram player. In fact, as I realize who this cat looks like,,, I see that he is wearing that very player's jersey. I couldn't not say anything...
So I say to him, "Man,,, you certainly picked the right jersey (88) to wear. You look so much like Lance that you could be his brother!".
So he says to me, "That's because I am his brother. My name is Landen, and Lance is my little "BIG" brother!".
What a trip. We talked through the duration of that long ass line. Landen was very cool. One thing that I said to him really cracked him up. I told him that I think Lance looks just like LeBron James... he then tells me that their Mom tells Lance that all the time. Apparently Lance was only 180 pounds in HS and played basketball. Landen said Lance didn't get bulked up until college.
One of the last things I said to Landen was that I think that I am a good luck charm for a Lance... I told him I was at the Tampon game when Lance scored that 80 yard backbreaking TD. I told him to watch out for Lance in the 2nd half!
We all know what happened!!! Hahahahaha
As we were all leaving our seats exiting towards the concourses... here comes Landen with a big smile right in front of me. We gave some high 5's and laughed with real joy. Also got to meet Landen and Lance's proud Father who was right there with Landen.
It's Tuesday... and I still have a huge permanent smile on my face! I'll get my pictures up by the end of the week.
