I used to work in Law Enforcement until I hurt my leg. That ended up causing a blood clot which almost killed me...longgggggg story that I’ll spare you.

This week a friend gave me this incredibly awesome Handmade Blue Line Flag. Just not sure where to hang it in my little place.

Here it is....

Kitchen, behind breakfast table.

Some people also hang them up in their garage. Especially if they're car guys. Murica.

That's awesome and thank you for your service to protect the peace. Is that really only a flag or is it designed to hold hardware?

Just a flag. I have a gun safe and a few options if need be.

Although it would have been awesome to have it as a serviceable storage spot.

I got this pocket watch as a gift from my Dad. It was his Dad’s from the 1910’s.

It stopped working but I got it fixed about 2yrs ago. It works perfectly now.

The watch was not an expensive watch back then, but what I love about this watch is thinking about ”where it’s been”... “that fly on the wall” effect of this gift. I love it.

This lamp wasn‘t a gift but I recently found it on ebay and scooped it up cheap. Pretty cool, eh? 1973. Works just fine.

I have it propped up here with another desk lamp simulating the shade, I have a shade on order (it did not come with a shade). I think it’s sweeeet!

They do make those and they are difficult to open.

‘I’ve seen them and they are usually set with a a latch system or code (similar to a safe for security). You can find them on a web search.

I have a helmet bank, but I bet there are several I do not remember where I got it.

About the size of a softball. A tiny key goes in bottom. I have the key, but bank is empty. :D

What kind and color of shade was on the original?

I ordered about same shape as my photo, but tag bigger, and it’s a burlap sort of material and look.

I hope it looks good... I photo shopped an image of it, before I bought it So, so long as what shows up looks like the picture I bought from, I think I’ll be happy.

My very old-school St. Louis Rams hat came from my late cousin, Irv. He was a diehard who split his time between St. Louis and Florida. It's something that I'll always wear for gameday, even though I have a few newer Rams hats. I'll wear it outside to show my fandom, almost in defiance, given that a lot of people here that I've met while wearing it ask "why are you still a fan when they left?"

Here it is:
