My internet provider just up graded my modem, for free, it was Downloading at 22.88 mbps. and Up Loading at 2.36 mbps. And now it's Downloading at 25.76mbps. and up Loading at 9.115 mbps. How good does this change sound to you!? Thanks for the input!

Every bit helps, though it really matters what you do whether the large increase in upload speed matters. Filesharing - big help. Serious online gaming? Definitely. Big files backed up to the cloud? Yes. Sharing with a lot of users in the household? Again, yes.

Free is good, but if your most demanding use is posting to RamsOnDemand, it may not matter.

Still, if nothing else, the faster download means you are less likely to have congestion while watching a hd movie - at least congestion caused by your end.
