Not all of us are spring chickens anymore, and I have had some surgeries:

But I have found these compression shirts add ton of support to my torso and lower back and when I wear them I have no stiffness or pain the next day when I decide to do some yard or car work. I don't wear a back brace anymore since getting these shirts... I just wanted to share my experience. Keep in mind these fuckers are difficult to get on and off, so make sure you have a helper... lol

I've been using compression shirts for several years. I have the tank tops, sleeveless and long sleeve. Yes, they can be hard to put on. The bottom rolls up inside and you gotta find it to pull it down. But with the tank tops I put my arm inside the strap part and it comes off easily. I've had a bad back for years. Found these shirts on Amazon. Definitely helps hold everything together with the tighter fit.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm 55 and I've been having some back pain for about a month, it "usually" goes away, but if it lingers it's good to hear this can help.

I use a back brace on occasion but it's cumbersome.

They recommend whatever your shirt size is the size you want for the compression shirt. I bought a few a size smaller for when I know I'll be doing something that will cause my back to ache. Like golfing. Or yard work. A little harder to put on but holds everything tighter. Feels more stable.

Walking the dogs tends to hurt more so I use a back brace for that. And a combination of lidocaine ointment and menthol with trolamine salicylate. All the things I have to do to keep the pain more manageable.

I tried injections. Even had the nerves burnt a couple times. Didn't help. Doc said surgery was the only other option. I said only if it gets to be too debilitating. For now my methods work best.
