I rooted hard for Bradford but once again he's part of that Rams QB equation that has taught me the importance of competitiveness at the most important position. Bradford was just another guy who wanted to collect his check. He was more than willing to trot off the field and let the punt team do their thing.
Watch Warner when he came in and every possession he played like it was a late game situation. It was just a different mentality altogether and as I look back on the position for us I hear Mike Martz talking about QBs needing to be the most competitive guy on the field.
This is why each year I watch the QBs coming out in the draft and look for that. Who's the guy who will have trouble sleeping if you beat him at monopoly, the ones who look pissed off when the punt team comes on, or who are fighting their ass off late in games when down big. That and decision making speed are the most important elements in a QB's makeup IMO.
