Rams have a real chance here to do it. Thay have the roster for sure.

I think last year was set up to be the stepping stone season where Stafford wins a playoff game and builds confidence to win that ring. But the team stepped up and got it done. This year's team might be better, depending on the defense.

If we end up with a top defense the Rams are gonna get it done again.

I think the D and the O improve. Both could be top 5. I think the Rams have many wins by 10 or more points. they will score deep into the 30s and keep the oponent in the low 20s. They will be able to rest the QB and star players at the end of games and roll to the SB.

Wagner, Durant, and Kendrick are looking like significant upgrades in the defense. If Akers can put in a full season and Henderson can at least play most of the season the addition of Williams could make the RB room solid. Noteboom has shown he's a very good LT, Allen is on the rise. Shelton or Bruss look to be upgrades at RG so the OL could be as good or better than last year.

The addition of Allen IMO can't be understated. As much as I liked Woods, Allen is better. He's big, strong, has excellent hands, and is an outstanding route runner. With Kupp and Allen, the Rams look to have an elite duo at WR. TE looks good with good depth with Higbee, Blanton, and Hopkins (Who I expect to build off of his Super Bowl).

The secondary IMO is the unit that looks to be improved the most this year. If Morris uses them properly, with no more sitting back on their heels, this could be a top 5 defense.

With Stafford's elbow, I think it's a given they will carry 3 QBs on the active roster.

I loved their roster last year, and this one is better. Outsiders who don't really follow the team, don't understand the improvements the Rams have made. The only thing that can derail the repeat train is injury. If they stay relatively healthy, this is a Super Bowl winner.

If there were a stat that combined win rates for your WR1&2 the 2022 Rams would undoubtedly be top of the list. Kupp & Robinson are a fearsome top two. This offense is going to have a ton of long/sustained TD drives this year.

Hmm, I'd say they have a good of a chance as anybody in the NFC to make it back to the conference title. Knocking Brady out of the Playoffs two years in a row is virtually unheard of. That would be something to see.

When I look at their offseason losses and additions departure of Von Miller looms large. I'm just not sure if or how the Rams are going replace his production. That's the biggest question mark I have for the Rams. That will also be something to see.

I talked to a Rams fan about it.I could say a brother from another Brother & he would agree. Just funny watching & talking ball.
I talked him off the cliff. At least gave him another concept & view.

I said I’m happy Von Miller left. I liked what he did & what he meant in 2021.He said why go to the Bills.!He was in love with him he seemed.Very disappointment.

He came to this point.I’d rather have Bobby Wagner than Von Miller.I agree
& will state no matter what happens in 2022 The Rams will have more team sacks this season.

Straight up: Wagner+Robinson >> Miller+Woods

I don't think the Bucs will be anything more than a wildcard round exit team this year.

I think the entire defense, other than the loss of Von, will be better. Maybe the Dline stays the same... but ILB, CB and Safety will all be better, imo. Should make up for losing Von.. even though he'll definitely be a loss.

And.. ARob is just a completely different beast than Woods. And I love Woods.

Well, they are virtually assured of winning the worst division in football. So I guess you got them losing their 1st Home game, regardless of team...

If Stafford's arm holds up, the Rams should come out of a weak NFC, barring injuries which are always a wild card. The odds of a repeat look pretty decent.

According to you and most in the media. But I don't buy that. I think they're in for a big dip and I think the Saints take that division.

Winston over Brady? Hope you're right Merlin, would actually love it.
I wouldn't say Winston over Brady. I'd say New Orleans defense over everyone else in that division. They were sub 20 ppg allowed last year even after losing Winston early to injury. That might be the best defense in the league this year.

Winston will be himself at some point, hopefully in the playoffs. But the regular season I figure he'll be ok. And look at his stats last year prior to the injury. He was playing very well.

I agree. I really like Winston. If I had to bet I would take the Bucs, but who knows? New Orleans does own them Head to Head. Again, it would be great to see Tampa Bay slip, but the team I really want to see slip is Green Bay and I want to eliminate going to Lambeau as a Playoff possibility.

Von Miller was a luxury last season. The Rams didnt go after him because of need, the opportunity presented itself and the Rams jumped on it. The players that learned from Miller last season will get a chance to apply it on the field this season. T Lewis was a healthy scratch last season due to Millers presence, I am expecting T Lewis to take a huge step up this year along with Hollins and Garrett.

As far as Brady, he has not beat the Rams since leaving NE and I dont see that changing.
