Ding, Ding, Ding......DR RAM said:Maybe it's related to the offensive line....
This exactly. Nice call.Ram Quixote said:The cutting and resigning of Clemens was a purely pragmatic move. If they at first did it because they needed the roster spot (DT), they also knew they had a candidate to cut (Scott) once the depth at DT stabilized. And you cut Clemens because Davis would have been picked up before you could get him to the PS. Where was Clemens? Waiting for us to call.
The contract situation was merely a bonus.

Clemens was cut after Brockers ankle, but before Conrath went down. The thinking on Scott might have been that he could be ready for week 1. Hoho went when they picked up Heard. Ojinaka was cut in favor of Smith/N'sece (sp?).libertadrocks said:Ramhusker said:This exactly. Nice call.Ram Quixote said:The cutting and resigning of Clemens was a purely pragmatic move. Scott never had a chance to suit up week one tho. Makes me think the move was financial.
What I find most curious is why they choose to keep Scott on the roster for 1 week rather than a guy like Hoho or Ojinaka.
