I made out.

Got a new computer chair (my chair was so falling apart that , a WoW Alliance robe (Rams Blue/Gold colors...yay!) new earpads for my Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones (the velour can get grimy and I've had them for 10 years now)

But the really cool deal was the wife crochet'd me a circular blanket in my blue and gold Rams colors so that I can use it as a lap blanket at the computer... and because it's circular...I won't run over the blanket with the chair.

My mom and daughter who also crochet said the pattern was wicked hard, but she rushed like mad to get it done in time for Xmas. I'll see if I can post a pic. I took a pic with me in my robe sitting my my chair with my blanket in my lap holding a new mug and a plushy of lil Chen Stormstout that one of my kids game me. If I can find a way to pull the off Facebook, I'll post that.

I feel fully confident that my new circular blanket is full of really good mojo for our Rams!

How was everyone else's Holiday? Christmas? Second day of Hanukkah? etc? I realize it's not about the stuff.

That said... how was everyone's holiday?

Think I figured out the image from Facebook deal... here goes...

My holiday was wonderful. I got a bunch of Rams/Blues/Cardinals stuff, a Gamestop gift card worth about forty dollars or so, a Buffalo Wild Wings gift card, and I got to spend my first Christmas with my nephew. It was glorious.

Wife got me a new vape mod. Very nice IPV 6+ 200W with a gold tank (she also bought me a blue protective band to go around it because ... Rams). Later I'm told I'm getting another present, but it's too saucy to share with you ladies & gentlemen. :shades:

Well @Ramlock I hear the newer carriers are really nice, though I sure don't envy their deployment schedules.

Glad you had a great holiday. I'm sure that smoker will be the envy of the neighborhood.

I wish your son fair winds and following seas for his upcoming deployment.

I had a fantastic time with my wife and my 3 sons. All 3 of my sons came home from college. My oldest is a senior at UCF and my twins are freshmen at FSU. My oldest is home every weekend... but it was only my 3rd time seeing the twins since school started.

We made massive quantities of great food. I've been eating like a pig.

My loot was really a combo with the wife and I. Not real exciting,,, but we got a new dishwasher and a new faucet for our kitchen sink. The faucet cost almost as much as the dishwasher... I had no idea that was possible LOL. I'll try to remember and post a pic of it later tonight.

Thanks Mac....and a wonderful new year to you!

As for the smoker, my mother in law goes nearly orgasmic just thinking of my bringing her some ribs!

Wish I could give this a high five and a cheers! LOL. I know when I got our new faucet and installed it myself, I was shocked at how much those could cost. I got lucky and got it on deep discount, but man alive has that faucet lived up to its ratings... So I totally get the excitement. Especially because so many really expensive faucets out there are such...junk.

Most importantly, so glad you got time with all the kids. Unlike in years past, all 4 of my kids are home so I was totally soaking it all in. I think it'll probably be the last year it's like that...probably ever...so I soaked it up like a sponge.

And I'm with you on the eating... I went to weigh myself and ended up in a 10 minute smak battle with the bathroom scale... I knew I was in trouble when the scale said, "DJ, bust it..."

Here's a shot of that faucet.

And @Mackeyser ... I did NOT install this myself. I happily paid a plumber... otherwise I would have had to replace stuff that I decided to break during my failed attempt at installation. LOL. This thing has a lifetime warranty btw. It should for what it cost.

Nice Wii, grandma. :snicker:
Why thank you! That's my old-school-gaming display - did you see the NES and SNES in the white shelves on the right?

You should also see my awesome RetroPie setup - a Raspberry Pi with a custom version of the Pi OS, with emulators for every gaming system up to the N64 era and loaded to the gills with ROMs.

That's a gorgeous faucet. I like the finish. Looks a little pro, little homey. And I'm a huge fan of those sinks. Undermounted sinks just look sooo much nicer to me with a nice counter top. Imho.

After the roof, the kitchen is NEXT, so I'm hoovering up all the good ideas.

And yeah, next install will def be done by the plumber. Felt cool to have done it myself and all, but that was almost 8 years ago and I dread getting under the sink to change out the water filters...
