This was an AMAZING interview. I didn't realize OBJ was a Rams fan and originally hatet Brady because he beat us in the SB(s).

I sure hope OBJs love for his current situation comes into play in free agency. His role as a strong handed, high point, red zone target has been missing since Sammy Watkins but Rams won’t be able to compete in the highest bidder game. If not the Rams still have Kupp/Woods/Jefferson.

He said he didn’t like Tom Brady because he beat the Rams. Long time Rams fan?

Maybe the greatest mid season signing for us in the last 15+ years? How did we get him? Blows my mind and he's a better fit than I ever could have hoped for. And he's a lifelong Rams fan too! The Lombardi Trophy has been in the locker room courtesy of Von Miller? Too many good things going on behind the scenes. I have a really good feeling about the game tomorrow and beyond for this season.

Remember how many people questioned this move and called him a cancer. Many similar sentiments after the Ramsey trade. McVay's culture is a real thing that needs to be respected.

Great interview. It really shed a brighter light on OBJ. I don't see how you can watch that and see the diva/troublemaker he has been made out to be. Seems more like a kid that loves the game and just wants to play in a good atmosphere and go after the Lombardi. What a great acquisition.

When I created that thread way back I was on the fence a bit but the more time passed the more I wanted him in horns and everyday I was waiting waiting refreshing pag s hoping and now he is here and he is actually a very cool dude and that last thing about changing colors was pretty indicative of how much he wants to stay a Rams. Hope he does both he and von no matter how this season ends up. Von showing off that trophy hopefully is just what this team needed. Man I'm nervous guys.

I think there's a lot of truth in your statement about McVay's Culture, or the McVay effect. I think there will always be exceptions...ahem..Marcus Peters... But for the most part the culture is obvious and effective.

Love Woods, but OBJ brings more to the Rams with Stafford at QB.
Woods is so much like Kupp, and the Rams O can be so much more now.
If needed, Rams have to get value for Woods, and use those $ on OBJ.
The one thing that I am still unsure of is how good a blocker can and is OBJ willing to be.

You underestimate Woods. He has historically brought a lot more than OBJ to this offense. I love what OBJ has brought, the hands, the tricks plays, the routes, the smart play and athleticism, and he's obviously showcasing his talent and bringing a lot more than when they first acquired him. I wouldn't say he's bringing more than Woods yet, but I'm still wanting him to succeed here and have a great game vs the Bucs!
