Funny, Wentz truly does not strike me as that type of guy, he seems so blue collar, whereas, Garoppolo, seems more like the prima-Donna type, however, players have raved about what a great teammate Garoppolo is.

Good point about players raving about JG as a teammate. Kinda the opposite of what teammates of CW have to say about him.

My one "bad" son is a colt fan. He is into football like we are but he had to be different with his team choice... but he shared some things about Wentz that got out when he was playing in Indy. The players and coaches both had issues with his attitude and standoffishness.

Ha... I just made a new word.

Just seems to me that at this stage of his career, JG sees the big picture as a backup where I just get the feeling that Wentz still thinks he's the " Would have been 2017 Landslide MVP winner had he not gotten hurt" guy, and ready to start.
I could be totally wrong, just dont see the vibe in him that Mayfield had
Interesting to see what the $$ looks like in KC

I mean, I was laughing. Wentz is a joke... but now I'm a little gobsmacked that Chiefs picked him up. Actually kinda hope Mahomes goes down for a few games and see what the arguably best QB coach ever can do with him.
I wanted him back. Maybe the Rams reached out first but he wanted to see if he could get a starting position somewhere else.

I think Wentz is more comfortable in the Midwest. Chiefs will be fine unless Mahomes misses more than one game. Teams will figure Wentz out and when you have as many rushing attempts as completion’s you are Not For Long in today’s NFL.

From Wentz, he came (and left).

Jimmy G is a better fit for our offense. That, to me, is the bottom line.
