He ended the year on IR due to a hip issue. It might be connected to that. I'd bring him in for a look, though. I still think we need another 3-4 DL. Howard has been a solid to good starting 3-4 DE for KC.

Howard is a good player. If his hip isn't a long-term issue I'd be happy if the Rams signed him. No harm in bringing him in for a physical.

Been great when healthy and would be a huge signing if we had cap space.

If Howard could return to the health of what he was during the 2015 KC season .....he could be a legit starting material @ the LDE post in Wade's defense.
