It's a win. Baltimore is going to be tough. We better be ready for that unconventional offense. And hopefully, our young OLs continue to hold up. Promising start for Bobby Evans, but they gave him a lot of help. For all those who complained about McVay being Mike Martz, he proved tonight that he's far more aware of his team's limitations than Martz.

Offense still inept but....

1. O-line was great.
2. Goff was money on all 3 of his deep throws.. only one counted however.
3. Defense was solid
4. Gurley grinded out some tough yards.

I’ve hated on Goff a lot this year, but I do like the guy as a person. Even though he’s had his struggles, those passes at the end were money.

It was definitely encouraging to see pretty good OL play (despite some penalties on Big Whit) and McVay committed to the run. Hope he just realizes all he’s needed was some balance.

Good game and Gurley looked good against a good D. Goff settled down at the end and made some nice passes to make up for some bonehead throws earlier.

It was a game where we just needed to survive. Well, we survived. Not pretty, but they way things have gone this year, I'll take it.

And yes, I'll add the caveat that Trubisky and the Bears O sucks but ... how about that D? They haven't given up more than 10 points to any offense since Ramsey arrived. Next week will be a much bigger test to be sure, but it's an encouraging start.
