The same question has been asked every year since 2004.

Can the current Super Bowl Champions (Rams) win back-to-back Lombardi trophies?

Every NFL team that has won the Super Bowl since 2004 (has been under the microscope) with the same repeated question.

Will they have enough talent, desire and team roster health to repeat as Super Bowl Champions?

This will always be the question after every season ends when a new NFL Champion is crowned.

We all know the New England Patriots (2003 - 2004) were the last NFL team to win back-to-back SB Championships.

If my math serves me correctly, this has not been done in 18 years.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of, if not the biggest favorites to do it since the 2003 - 2004 Patriots.

Good morning Football puts in their two cents regarding the Rams chances.

Click on the Watch on YouTube area in the black box below to watch GMF's most recent opinions just like they did last season at this time when the Bucs were on SB repeat mode. GMF and all the major NFL networks ponder this after the SB is over.

It's one of the most interesting subjects in the NFL world because it hasn't been pulled off in 18 years.

The Los Angeles Rams are the next SB Champion on deck...

The question is not if, it's how many!

They are still harping about the "lack" of depth on the roster. Also claiming that the Rams have a negative cap right now so that makes it almost impossible to resign key UFA on their roster. Obviously, they never bothered to look at Whitworth's contract. If he retires or is released the result would be that move alone clears the CAP deficit. Restructuring of their larger contracts will clear enough for them to re-sign their key FAs like Noteboom, OBJ, Allen, Corbett, Miller, and Michel.

It never ceases to amaze me how these nitwits can say these stupid things. Clearly, they don't understand NFL contracts. They also assert that the teams the Bengals beat clearly the Rams couldn't beat!! WTF?? It's why I simply don't watch or listen to them.

IMO the window will be 4-6 more years. McVay will tie his extension to Stafford's. Stafford will probably be extended through 2026 with possible voidable years to allow them to spread the CAP hit thinner. I see Donald being around for 2 more years with OBJ and Miller also being around that long.

I think Wilson could end up with the Colts and Kyler gets traded into the AFC. If the Rams win the Lombardi again this season AD will play one more season (2023) to try to make history. No team has won 3 consecutive Super Bowls.

I can't see why we can't if we have basically have this same team intact for next year.

Some will go, and some will join. But our key players will be on the roster next year.

Yes, the Rams can repeat as Super Bowl Champions.

Everything starts from the top. And that is the ownership of Stan Kroenke.

Thank God that old witch Georgia Frontierre is no longer the Rams owner as she ran the organization down to the ground.

The Rams are a major NFL powerhouse because Stan Kroenke hires the best coaches, GM, scouts, trainers and players with a passion for winning that makes the Rams a force to be reckoned with for many years.

So yes, the Rams can run it back-to-back-to-back. And Stan Kroenke’s magnificent SoFi Stadium is the best there is in the league that a new generation of Rams fans base covers from Tijuana to San Luis Obispo will make the Rams truly legendary in Los Angeles.

Georgia payed her players after they left Anaheim. There was a thing called the Cap. Stan is no Artie Marino .Then again Whose House.
There is a fine line, but in all of this Kevin Demoff is the big difference maker.

It's hard to run it back. As we've seen not many have done it. But it's possible for sure. Biggest thing is having depth and staying healthy. It's a long season.

As long as they don't try to blindly run it back with the same pieces... Yes. It will require some roster tuning at OL and DB.

Lot of things have to go right for a SB dub. Now @ 17 game regular season, plus only 1/7 shot of getting a first round bye, more likely of 21 weeks of things have to go right and more importantly avoiding injuries.

Talent wise? Yeah. The ups and downs of games, the ball bouncing in your favor, etc. All plays a part and makes it a lot harder.

Winning the SB back to back requires a lot of things to bounce our way, things that Rams can’t possibly control.

But I’ll say this. As long as the quartet of Kroenke, Demoff, Snead, and McVay are together I think Rams will constantly be in good position to win it all.

Those 4 constitute a perfect storm of excellence in their respective areas. Such a confluence is a very rare thing in the NFL.

We’ve seen it with the Steelers of the 70’s, the 49ers of the 80’s, and the Cowboys of the 90’s. Now it might be our turn.

Anyway, let’s enjoy this ride while we can.

I'm not sure it works that way for everyone, but right after that video, the full McVay/Simms interview. Pretty good interview as McVay seems much more relaxed and takes a breath in between answers.

If you think about it, a lot of balls bounced away from us this season but we still managed to persevere. Cam's Achilles, Woods ACL, HigBeast, OBJ, Mundt, Jones, SJD, etc...

Losing OBJ after he started absolutely torching the Bungles in the SB, down 2 of our best 3 WRs, and playing our 4th TE, while our QB is playing on a bit hobbled ankle...

If we stay healthier next season, I think we are the favorites to win it - and we should.

All the Rams need to repeat is Stafford, Kupp & Donald.

Am I wrong? I ask, am I wrong?

The game winning Super Bowl drive was all Stafford and Kupp, and the game winning last drive stop was all Donald.
