Currently, he’s got 40 touchdown passes. Stafford is going to play against weak teams the last two weeks of the season. I think it’s certainly possible. If he does reach 50, he’ll be the 4th QB in NFL history to accomplish such a feat.

The record, by the way, is 55 by Peyton Manning which is out of Stanford’s reach.

It would be cool to see, though I could care less whether it happens.

One thing that is amazing about Stafford is every time they've gotten him a new threat outside the hash we've felt it. Adams I think still has room to get better in timing with him, and OBJ during that title run was borderline unstoppable with nine throwing to him. So this makes me want one of those big wideouts that slot nicely into the first round range in this draft where Atlanta's pick should be. Of course I'd be fine with other positions too, like corner or tackle for example, but if you want to maximize Stafford a great way to do it is keep him in weapons.

Would love to see Nacua/Adams/one of the Ohio State WRs/ Ferguson year 2 in the lineup next year.

Yeah that would potentially be a perfect storm for this offense. The WR options up top are real this year and we have what should be a low teens pick.

That would be an amazing feat, but no way he goes 5 TD's in each of the last two games. Nor should we need him too.
I'd love it if McVay said, you no BW, you were right, I've been to passive after going up a couple scores. I'm gonna try going nuts and shooting for 50 points a game to close out the year. Really open up this baby and see how she goes.

Everytime the Rams lose this season, it's been like a Christmas miracle for the other team. How crazy is that? The Rams actually lost a game! Front page news. Media frenzy! Give the key to the city to the winning coach and have a parade because we beat the unbeatable Los Angeles Rams. I don't know, maybe the 2001 Rams, if there has been a more feared or respected Rams team than this years team with Stafford.
