Cooper Kupp put up all time numbers last year but is not generally considered the best wr in football, probably because before last year he put up decent not great numbers. If Kupp has another monster year It would change perception, maybe, about the best receivers in the game.
Justin Jefferson believes that this is the year he surpasses Davante, not Kupp, as the best receiver in the game, despite the fact that Kupp crushed both of them this past year.
There hasn’t been a lot made of it in the media but Kupp could absolutely have another big year as he and Stafford get even more in tune, whereas Davante is on a new team with a new qb And Jefferson has a new coach and a new system. How bout Deebo? Tyreek? Both with new qbs. What about Hop? Suspended.
I think Diggs and Kupp have everything set up for them to have huge years. Guys like Tyreek or Jefferson could for sure have big years but they have some hurdles.

Depends on if Akers stays healthy and lights it up.

If the run game is working, the offense will be significantly more efficient and will require less passing numbers from everyone.

Also, Allen Robinson is gonna wreck some teams… most people just don’t know, but they ‘bout to find out…

Good point about a lot of the “top WR’s” being in new situations.

It will be interesting to see if that results in slow starts for them.

If Kupp is healthy, I think 1400 yards and 8-10 TDS is his floor for next season.
I don't think we see the kind of numbers he had last year, because Robinson is here for a full offseason and they're going to spread the ball around more. But... I think they'll just be passing more as well and see Stafford passing 5K and topping 40TDs again. We'll see.

Exactly I saw some ESPN fantasy WR rankings and they had him ranked 35th and I'm like WTF? Last year they had Stafford ranked 11th( I think it was) and I thought the exact same thing.

I think under the same conditions as last year he could match the results. This year there will not be the need for it. The schedule looks tough, but I think the D will be improved and the O with Stafford's second year and Cam being back and the Oline being beefed up, will have the rams winning by bigger margins. They will be running out the clock on 30 plus for the rams and 20 or less for opponents. So less late heroics running up the stats. Of course, Robinson will also take some targets away. Also more sacks and interceptions are in store for the D.

Only concern I have is health. So I'd say as long as he stays healthy and the same is true for Stafford he's going to have another great season. Not necessarily of the caliber we just saw, as that only happens once in a while, and Robinson is going to cut into his numbers a little. But Robinson makes the offense better too, harder to stop, so pass game volume might increase more than people think. I hope not, btw. I am hoping for a balanced offense not a pass happy one. But we just won the Super Bowl with zero run game so maybe I'm too locked in the past here.

Either way health is going to be the key for us this year. That and how well they can get this restacked secondary playing. If both those things are good we're in for another special season I think.

The rest of the NFL’s. CB’s and DB’s are Kupps little girlie men. Their tears will nourish his manly performance…

I think Coop will start out a little slow because DC’s are going to try and take him away, until Robinson burns them early on, and then his numbers will go up dramatically.
Stafford is the 6000 yard man…..

My answer is that I believe the Rams would have won the Super Bowl with Goff had Kupp stayed healthy.

What he did last year was a statistical anomaly. I don't think he'll quite match the statistical peak he did this past season.

But I think what we saw last year is how much of a centerpiece of this offense Kupp is and he and Stafford with their breakfast club showed to really thrive together.

He probably won't back it up with a year like last season. That kind of season is exceptionally rare.

But NFL "experts" need to face it. There's not another receiver in the entire freaking league that could have done what Kupp did when everyone on the field and sideline knew damn well they were going to him week in, week out, and thrice on SB Sunday.

Davante was far and away the best receiver on his team with supposedly the league MVP throwing to him. Sorry. Not close.

But let these shit for brains keep looking at everything but true production as a FOOTBALL receiver while Kupp keeps catching footballs even when everyone knows he's the go to.

Can you imagine if OBJ returns to the Rams? Granted he's out until the later part of the season but he'll open up things for Kupp if he's playing.

The Bengals knew the Rams were going to Kupp on the winning drive and they still couldn't stop him.

Don’t see Kupp repeating last seasons numbers.
To me that’s a good thing.
Rams #2 wideout was Woods/OBJ. Robinson will do more.
Rams running game should be better.
Rams will know they need Kupp for the playoffs.
Atwell may show up.
VJ in a contract year may do more.
opposing teams will game plan even more against Kupp

This is a good thing imo as Rams are more likely to repeat if Kupp is part of the passing game and not the whole enchilada.

I don't think it is an anomaly I think he is just that smart and good at his craft. Also great connection with Stafford like Rodgers/Adams.

This year if Robinson kills it Kupp will not get the balls thrown his way or yards that he did last year. Many forget we lost Woods half way through the season and no Akers so Kupp became even more important.

Does anyone disagree with this list?

Where did you look? I just googled fantasy football WRs 2022, and Kupp is top two in most sites, including ESPN.

I've personally never seen a season where every single time a team needed a big play, Kupp made it. That was the icing on the cake that made it a truly MVP level season. And as the playoffs went on.. he kept doing it.

I simply don't know if he gets the same volume this year.. but I think it's possible. It would, in my opinion, most likely, if the pass offense was just a juggernaut, easily blowing past 5000 yards. Heck.. is 355 yards a game a stretch? Because that would be 6K yards.
