My take is Burns could be franchised but boy he would be pissed. This team is way down the win ladder. Burns is a FA technically so they could lose him if he doesn't want to play for the team. My guess he wants out and they know keeping him will be a PR nightmare. So I would unloaded him at the trade deadline for the best deal they can.
