So this year's Knocks will document exactly what NOT to do if you're trying to run a successful NFL franchise.

They could also bill it as a comedy this year.

Fascinating. ;)

Laugh now, this team will not be a joke this year

I agree, the talent is there but is the coaching staff finally going to get it right? Passing on Chubb at 4 might come back and haunt them as well.

I don't know about that. Ward has the looks of a shut down corner to me. Cleveland will get to the passer just fine and IMO they got a steal with the Chubb they did pick...
I think they win 7 games easy and it wouldn't surprise me to see more than that.
(That division blows)

But it will be a hell of a story if they turn it around.

At some point they might. I just don't see it happening with their current group of decision makers and coaches.

Plus... I enjoy poking fun at them. :fighting:

I really like their new QB. But he's a rookie, so they're not going to be a playoff team this year or anything, but they are officially on the upswing now IMO.

Hard Knocks? So is it a biography of the Browns organization or the "reality" show? So confused.

This is a tough break for the browns in a year when they had an excellent draft and a pretty good off season with a new GM.

I remember seeing the Rams and cringing at fisher at least once an episode because he seemed lazy, passive, and out of touch--yet he kept telling everybody to trust him because he knew what he was doing.

I hope this doesn't overwhelm the browns. They're in a good spot to turn things around.

If the browns can get outta camp without getting swallowed by this circus act of a show, they should be formidable. The division is in decline and the browns did a good job in the off season (IMO) by getting a decent QB to hold the fort until their #1 pick is ready, and making some solid picks. They have an excellent guard in zietler and they at least tried to draft a replacement at LT.

A solid season followed by another decent draft, and the browns have a chance to FINALLY return to form.

I did like the "Dumb and Dumber - Please Stand Up" part. Had to laugh at that. I just couldn't figure out who was Dumb and who was Dumber. Both of them seem Dumber to me.

It was pretty sad that those two were the best receivers we had.

OMG...I felt the same way. Fisher was disgusting as a leader. Couldn't stand the whole scene when he seemed half dead in his shorts and thongs as he talked to Joyner about his issues. So Un-Motivational. Rams Hard Knocks got me to actually hate Jeff Fisher!

Over the last two years of his tenure Jeff Fisher looked bloated and had bags under his eyes. He seemed worn out and ready for retirement. When he was hired(I wanted Ron Rivera) I figured he would get the Rams out from the bottom of the barrel and to a level of some respectability before the next coach arrived who would take us to the next level. That's exactly what happened, so Fisher served his purpose. All the best to him in his future.

I don't have any team I like second best but do hope the Browns organization is on the upswing. It would be good for the NFL for that to happen.

I will watch. The best part of Hard Knocks is when the team starts playing preseason games and watching the coaches react on the sideline and in the coach's box. Can't wait to watch Williams lose his sh*t on some of the rookies.
