I reckon the saints are gonna go all out to make sure that doesn't happen. This will be Goff and the receivers day.

.

Saints might not be able to do as much about it even if this is their strategy. Having lost their best interior DL is going to make stopping the run more difficult for them, especially if our OL plays like a unit possessed as it did last week. Sometimes running the ball is a matter of will, and even if we see more passing from our offense, I still expect a very heavy dose of Todd and CJ.

On D, I think we get a few sacks, because they've had some interior OL problems lately as well, and Brees isn't Dak when it comes to mobility.

I'm going to go with our embattled OLBs. While the position has been poorly manned for most of the season Fowler and Ebu have been flying around of late, and vs Dallas while the sacks weren't there the two provided good pressure from the edges as well as some instinctive plays like Ebu's near-pick six on a coverage drop to the flat.

I think for us to win we are going to need those two ballin out, and I expect it to happen. So let's say 2 sacks between the two of them, maybe a tackle for loss or two, sure tackling, and lots of pressures. (y)

I don't know about that. With Sheldon Rankins out at DT, their "gut" is vulnerable to our Oline and CJ Anderson. Starting Guard Andreas Peat was revealed to be playing with a broken hand last week vs the Iggles, and drew holding penalties. Enter Aaron Donald.

We have to control the LOS on both sides of the ball, and use play action to beat this team. The Rams need to control the clock. I expect to see our running game wear down the Saints like no one has done to them all year. Lets dominate, and LEAVE NO DOUBT!

I don't think they touched him earlier in the season. The plays were designed for fast releases so the Rams have to be ready for that strategy. They don't want him meeting up with AD in the backfield LOL.

Marcus Peters gets a pick six then gets thrown out of the game for taunting Payton with shouts of "you feel me now!" while cupping his balls. Rams win game anyway. That night Peters posts a photo with an (apparent) stream of piss splashing into a cup of gumbo.

They weren't playing with injured players at G and C in that match either. I'm sure both Wade and AD are keenly aware of their status now, and AD has the explosiveness to blow up a play even on a 3-step drop.

Yep. That quick-out stuff, before any D would have a chance to react, is the Saints' bread and butter.

Small predications that add up to a Rams win: Goff throws at least one TD. Donald gets at least one sack. Anderson runs for at least one TD. Brees throws at least one interception. Cooks has over 80 yards receiving.

There will be penalty flags thrown and even if they are deserved Rams fans will be outraged.

But it's not that often.

The Rams are (tied for) the 4th least penalized team in the NFL.

So how to we change the framework of this..........the refs make the Rams have more turnovers?

This is a well managed and pretty disciplined team. It won't be a sloppy game.

IMO the Rams are going to piledrive the Saints early with the run in the first half, then open it up with an aerial attack in the second half.

Make them work hard early, then make them run around a lot to wear them out.

Trying to pass time til Sunday. Any predictions for the game.

I'll toss out Everett & Higby show up big with combined 100+ yards receiving, including a clutch catch in the game winning drive.

Somewhat tooting my own horn here. 75 yards combined, a little short of my 100+ prediction, but boy did they have some clutch catches!!!
