Dude took a huge step forward last year. If he can keep it up, really think we'll see a ton more of Turner at 3T. Otherwise think Turner bounces around more and plays some nose.

Bobby Brown low key a big reason our D outplayed itself last year.

Perfect example of a guy when drafted who was pretty meh and didn't see what he could end up doing or the runway for him to get there.

Alternatively, some guys flash and then fade afterwards... I'm looking at you Jordan Fuller. Had high hopes for him.

Bobby Brown III is only twenty-four...and honestly, he may be our second-best pick in that entire 2020 draft.

Yeah BB3 was cooking by the end of last season. Really hit his stride by playoffs I thought. I've said in other threads that I'm excited to see how he is in year 4 because as @Memento pointed out he is only 24 still. Was 20 when we drafted him and had a lot of physical maturity to do still imo being that raw age wise. I really have no worries regarding our dline and its depth now.

FUNNY- ask BubbaRam about him. He’ll say something totally different.I was like the first one ever in SOFI(ota) & saw him practicing .Eric Henderson had his group out there early. No AD99,but it was pretty cool seeing Stan Kronke being introduced to say Matthew Stafford there. It was a beautiful day.

He came into training camp & was hurt.He never looked as good. The next year after the Super Bowl A’Shawn was mentoring him.

He had the suspension the following season.

2022 He practiced & played through injury. He got hurt in the preseason & learned to play through it because of the suspension & the time off he had to get right.

In 2023 is when he started to mature as a NFL player, learning & leading. The training wheels sort of came off .

Going into 2024 a (23/24) years old he is going to be asked to do more things. He has really trimmed down & leaned out for a NT/DT. His speed for his size is Crazy Fast. I’ve seen him run players down behind the Line if scrimmage forcing them out of bounds.

My main concern is his health.Hate to even post it,but really believe in his ability that that’s the only thing that’s going to stop him.If not then he will be playing at a very high level & the NFL should be warned.

BB3 seems to have really grown into himself. He had maturity problems in college (which is why he lasted to the fourth), and was obviously suspended, but he's really grown. Quite frankly, he's become a better version of what Robinson was for us. I hope we can re-sign him (obviously not over Ernest Jones, but definitely for a lesser deal), but some team is probably going to pay a lot for a NT who is that good, that young.

We'll see. If he's turned the corner then as a veteran going into year 4 he should be a leader on the field for the Rams on early downs and setting the tone game one on. I am fine with his ceiling being a good run stuffer, by the way, if that is what it is. Some guys do take time to adjust to the league.

One thing's for sure: we need him to play well. If that happens then we should have a balanced DL from the beginning. If not, then it'll be a situation where we wait for these kids to hit their stride.

I do like that he's only 24. But in the end all that matters is what you deliver on the field and from that perspective he's no Turner. That doesn't mean, though, that he can't be a very valuable piece for us. I am hopeful just not gonna believe it until I see it.

What concerns me Brown only played 27% defensive snaps. He gets gassed way too much. Let's see if he worked on his stamina or we're going to see a lot of Davis.

I pretty much agree with all this. He could be anywhere from a key player to an important rotational piece this year. BTW run stuffers are the unsung heroes of a defense.

Having a big 330 pound run stuffer is nice. But he does get gassed pretty quick. The depth chart has him, Turner and Fiske as the starters with Young and Verse at the edges. But that could change if Davis plays well in camp and preseason. I though Murchison was a nice pick up a couple years ago. But he didn't see the field that much last year. Depth is iffy in the middle but could be better if Murchison can play like he did a couple years ago.

Yeah, I'm not expecting him to even be a starter or majority snap sharer. I just liked how much he improved last season. He'll be an integral rotation player on certain downs. I'm still expecting Turner, Fiske, and maybe even Johnson to get more snaps than him. But right now BB3 is really our only true NT unless some rando we're not expecting makes a push.

Forgetting about someone? A certain someone named Desjuan Johnson who actually played well for a Mr. Irrelevant rookie last year? A certain Desjuan Johnson who got a strip sack on Sam Darnold that sealed the win?

Yeah, I think Johnson could be the real surprise this year. A guy that emerges to be a regular and a regular in the opposing team's backfield.

They should have the cap $$ to do it, unless they want to spend on outside FAs.
