Just finished “The Last Kingdom”.
It’s 5 seasons.

Started off good and got better. (Season 3 was my favorite)
Loved it.
 
Some Star Trek stuff

As of the now , the future of Star Trek is in limbo

as Paramont has merged with Skydance

a company called Secret Hideout has been producing all the new Star Trek stuff for the last 10 years or so , for better or worse , and alot of Star Trek fans would say for the worse

but Secret Hideout contract expires next year , and no word yet on what Paramount will do next

what we do know , is that we are still getting two more seasons of Strange New Worlds , and two seasons of Star Fleet Academy

Star Fleet Academy

I have little hope for , I'm sure I'll watch it , but from what I've seen and read

well , I guess I'll have to wait and see............

Watching HBO's John Adams mini series

I"ve watched it before , probably my favorite mini series of all time ,

such a great series if anyone has never seen it before

everyone first thinks of George Washington , Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin when they think of out founding fathers

but none of that would have happened without John Adams

such a great character , this is a man whose filter between his brain and mouth seldom worked ......................lol

he was more then happy to tell you exactly what he thinks , if you wanted to hear it or not

his friendship / rivalry with Thomas Jefferson as a good example , those two men could not have been more different

and his love for his wife Abigail Adams is probably one of the greatest love stories of all time , as many of their letters still exist today

Watched Bosch Legacy. I enjoyed the Bosch series when he was a homicide detective. This one's just as good. Ballard with Maggie Q is a spinoff of Bosch Legacy.

One of the problems I had with the IT movies was the CGI

but in Welcome to Derry , I'll admit , Pickle dad was done well.....................LOL

I'll give yet another shout-out to Hazbin Hotel (and Helluva Boss, by proxy). Yes, it's more of an adult musical black-comedy about Hell's inhabitants trying to get to Heaven (for various ways and motives), but the second season's songs are fucking on point, and they got Liz Callaway - she of Anastasia - to voice the Speaker of God.

This song featuring Liz and Patina Miller is beautiful, and, shockingly enough, meaningful in a way that fits religion, guilt from prior actions, how to redeem oneself and doubts that they can. For a show with its themes and a lot of black comedy, it's surprisingly poignant.

The worst thing about the Kurtzman Trek isn't that it's "woke" (a silly argument) or that it's no better than some awful fan fiction. No, the worst thing is just how incompetent and awful these supposed members of Starfleet are. They aren't characters that a young person could draw inspiration from like Captain Picard for example. They're all just overly emotional, useless, stupid, incompetent buffoons who never would have qualified for Starfleet Academy, let alone graduated, let alone get posted to ships. Ugh.

I’m watching Black Sails right now.
I had to check and make sure I wasn’t in PornHub.

1st season was decent. I’m into the 2nd season now and am enjoying it.
