Love Hoecht and and am very happy for him. I love guys who love football the way Hoecht does.
He’ll be missed.

That was a Morris scheme thing, Shula was much better at playing to his strengths.
He was still dropping into coverage under Schula. At a less rate but still quite a bit. Young's coverage rate went up under Schula.

It's around what I expected. I knew he was a long shot back but I'm really going to miss his leadership.

Not worth this much to us.

The way he played this year I figured he was going to get a nice pay day.
I was hoping the Rams could retain him but figured it was unlikely.
He finally got consistent setting the edge against the run, had an impressive pressure rate and blocked three kicks this year.
A great example of a guy who worked very hard and refused to be an easy cut.
Super impressive with what he has done and what the coaching staff did with his as well.
Talk about a great role player.....
Good luck to him.

Glad he got a raise, he helped more than he hurt.
This SUCKS though for The Rams.He meant SO much to The Rams.Of course WE could see the writing on the wall.

The Rams groomed his replacement, but list a mentor. There wasn’t to many players who worked harder than Hoecht. This 2024 draft will benefit from it though. There Legacy is only going to be that much bigger now though. BJ will get his chance.

The group he came up with & then going through Covid. He made such a big play on special teams that helped win the 2022 Superbowl.
