Betting contest

I will be starting a betting contest in the upcoming weeks. Please use this thread ONLY to sign up for the contest. All other discussions will be in the SPORTSBOOK FORUM

My plan is this.

1. Everyone who participates will need 10,000 RODollar$ to play
2. I will post 7 games per week,against the spread, at even odds ( 1/1) in a separate category than regular Sportsbook postings
   
3. Each player MUST bet on 4 games a week.
4. You continue betting on 4 games a week, until your 10k is gone. Each correct bet is worth 1 point.
   
5. Winner is the last person standing, or whomever has accumulated the most points at the end of regular season.
6. I will be keeping track of all bets and points, and will post standings and eliminations

Input or advice ( or anyone who wants to help manage it) will be handled in the SPORTSBOOK FORUM

A couple questions.
Why $10k? What is the purpose if I only get 1 point per correct bet, I could just bet $1 on each game and never run out?

Do you have to get all 4 correct to continue?

thats a good point, I suppose it could be done without the 10k. My original thought was when you run out of money your are eliminated, but what I failed to put in original post was the minimum bet would be $1000.

No, you dont have to get all bets correct, but you do have to bet on 4 games

example

week 1 you go 2/4 so $10000-2000 =8000
week 2 you g0 1/4 so now you are down to 5000
week 3 2/4 again down to 3000

No, you dont have to get all bets correct, but you do have to bet on 4 games

That make sense, I would suggest to lower the min amount needed to join and adjust the min bet amount to line up with that. Say $1k to join and a min bet of $100. This way if you crap to bed the first couple weeks your out. And maybe for every $100 earned you get a point. That way when you bet big and win you get rewarded.

I can always provide the needed $ to those who may not have the 10K. That won't be a problem.
