Saw it live...it is marvelous. Niners get flayed, sliced, diced and simply nuked.

Nick Wright is pretty saying what I've been saying. They could have had at least one Superbowl championship by now. Maybe two. And looking for more. But the way they handled the most important position was a total dumpster fire. And will probably be the reason they won't have a championship by the time the window closes.

Man, my shadenboner is like a titanium missile now.:party:

When they traded up to get him in the first place, it was a dramatic overreaction to us getting Stafford. They HAD to do something desperately, and desperate it was.

What's great about all this fallout is maybe it erodes the confidence of SF's owner in Rat Boy and ends in his departure. That owner is the apple that fell far from the family tree of the guy who steered the whiners through the 80s. He might have been a scumbag but he prioritized winning. This guy is shit and needs to make a new hire so he can have a coach who is on his level.

Remember “if we only had 3 QBs on the roster in the NFCCG…” crap? Well?

The 9ers dumped lance so they wouldn’t have that issue lurking over them all year. They decided to cut bait and move on, knowing that dog would not hunt.

I hope the parasitic vultures in the media don’t let them forget.

Here's my take, I DON"T GIVE A FUCK! However, Greenberg and "Get Up" are ass deep in covering this. Swear they spent an entire hour (of 2) of their coverage today to talk this shit. What used to be their flagship program is a complete dumpster fire now since the only shit they talk about is the Jets and Cowboys. Cannot wait til the Jets start losing and Greeny losing his shit even more on TV. You know things are bad at ESPN when Stephen A. Smith becomes the calm voice of reasoning.

If there is an ancillary benefit to the Stafford trade, this is definitely it. I too think it caused a 49er over-reaction that led to them panic-drafting Lance.

Boy, am I glad I was wrong on my initial take about that trade. We got a Super Bowl and they are on the verge of pissing away their window.

If they traded for the top pick I could see it. Trevor Wilson had the measurables to be a good quarterback in the NFL. They knew Zach Wilson would probably go next. They drafted Lance because of the raw talent. But there are a lot of guys with that kind of raw talent that never became anything in the NFL. Lance might be one of them.
