In todays age of TV viewing, the commercial is going by the wayside. Companies have to get even more creative to capture the attention of the consumer.

While I fast-forward as much as the next guy, every once in a while I run into a commercial that deserves credit for it's humor and creativity. As someone who spent time writing, and voicing radio commercials, it leaves me saying, "why didn't I think of that?"

This thread is dedicated to those commercials. You guys have a favorite commercial you remember? Here's one as an example to start it off...

1st Senior: gray sweater, white collar

2nd Senior: light gray vest with cameo

3rd Senior: Lace collar, “Where’s the beef” star.

Male narrator (unknown)

1st Senior: It certainly is a big bun.

2nd Senior: It’s a very big bun.

1st Senior: Big fluffy bun.

2nd Senior: It’s a very big fluffy, bun.

3rd Senior: Where’s the beef!?

Male narrator: Some hamburger places give you a lot less beef on a lotta bun.

3rd Senior: Where’s the beef!?

Male narrator: At Wendy’s, we serve a hamburger we modestly call The Single. And Wendy’s Single has more beef than the Whopper or Big Mac. At Wendy’s you get more beef and less bun.

3rd Senior: Hey! Where’s the beef!? I don’t think there’s anybody back there.

Male narrator: You want something better. You’re Wendy’s kind of people.

This was always a touching commercial in the 1970's (PSA). It was hilarious years later to think the "Indian" was an Italian-American guy....lol His name was Espera Oscar de Corti, also known as Iron Eyes Cody in the Bob Hope movie, "Pale Face."

Brilliant movies.

Night at the Museum flicks were also good.

Terrible commercials.

But here is a funny story.

Many years ago someone made coffee for me. I asked for just a quarter of a pot, she didn't drink coffee so didn't know how much to put in.

So she filled the filter to the top.

It was so strong you couldn't imagine.

We still joke about it sometimes to this day.

Obviously she was a tea drinker.

Hahaha.
