#Rams Film: In isolation, Gurley doesn’t look like a GREAT runner. But compare him to the bodies around him and you see that he is. Subtle.

#Rams Film: a ton of deceptiveness to Gurley. Deceptive speed, strength, wiggle, acceleration.

#Rams Film: Austin 21 yd run interesting end-around out of tight trips, with TE Cook pulling as a lead-blocker. Great use of personnel.

#Browns Film: Dansby flashed very good play recognition.

#Rams #Browns Film: Britt 41 yds was fly route, beat the bump and run of Desir. Safety was to other hash, his help was irrelevant.

#Browns #Rams Film: Starks sack he quickly beat RG Brown to outside.

#Rams Film: Gurley 48 yds unbelievable job of getting skinny through the hole. Dansby had the run stuffed for no gain, Gurley adjusted.

#Rams Film: Gurley a subtle sense for setting up blocks in confined areas.

#Rams Film: Cook has too many negative plays. A failed block or a fumble or a drop. An inconsistent player.

#Browns Film: CB Desir did solid job in run support on perimeter.

#Rams #Browns Film: Gurley 14 yds was “90 flip”, DE Orchard lost contain.

Film: #Browns problem is they simply don’t have enough talent at skill positions...Because of 2 exciting wins (Titans WK 2, Ravens WK 5) that has been a little lost on people.

Film: overall #Browns pass pro held up decently against #Rams rush, particularly straight four-man rushes.

Film: no meaningful snaps where #Rams played man coverage. All zone. Function of their style and game situations. Lot of 3rd-longs

Film: Penalties (many of them product of good #Rams play) put #Browns in a lot of 3rd-long situations, where they struggled.

#Browns #Rams Film: should be noted there were also instances where Thomas also did an outstanding job vs. Quinn.

#Rams Film: McLeod one of more violent hitting safeties in the game. Isn’t thought of in those terms.

#Browns Film: LT Thomas has had another good season, but this wasn’t his best game. Some penalties, struggled a bit with #Rams athletes.

#Browns Film: Next play McCown looked snake bit and checked-down outside when he had Hartline breaking across middle of Cover 2 void late.)

#Rams #Browns Film: Jenkins dropped INT from straight Cover 2 on a really bad McCown read.

#Browns Film: Barnidge 28 yds was same LOS TE out-n-up concept as his 27-yarder. This time vs. Cover 2, not Cover 3, which also works.

Film: #Rams more single-high concepts after halftime. Why?

#Browns Film: Barnidge 27 yds was LOS TE out-n-up down seam vs. Cover 3. The underneath LB passes him off on the “out”, so no one carries.

cont...Rams front four and pressure designs worked and their back 7 was too athletic for Browns pass game. Run game an afterthought.

#Rams #Browns Film: this game was classic illustration of one team just being better than the other.....

Film: #Rams don't just disguise, they ask their disguisers to cover a ton of ground in doing so. Gregg Williams influence.

Film: #Rams do a ton with coverage disguises. A lot of them went to Cover 2 stuff (they weren’t worried about #Browns run game).

#Rams Film: You can’t do runs that don’t get immediate contact on Donald. O-lineman across from him can't leave to pull. Donald too quick.

#Browns #Rams Film: Benjamin 21 yds was good route to beat the man coverage of Trumaine Johnson.

#Rams Film: Donald continued to flash. Quickness, speed, power. He’s easily the best all-around DT in the NFL.

Film: When Rams D disguised, which was more as game progressed, it was often to Cover 2 concepts, including inverted Cover 2's.

#Rams Film: CB Jenkins played well. Recognized in-breaking routes and adjusted on plays that called for it.

Film: #Rams great variety of pressure concepts, often involving disguised second-level blitzers. Gave #Browns problems.

Film: #Rams foundation was split safety zone. Mostly Quarters off of it.

#Browns Film Hayes sack-fumble excellent move to beat RT Schwartz around edge. #Rams double-A w/ Donald and Laurinaitis, 1 on 1 across board

Film: #Rams defensive base was big nickel; Barron played all 75 snaps.

Gosh it is good to read that. I hope to see more of it in the future when the Rams finally start STACKING wins.

Emmanuel Sanders agrees.
This one caught my eye as well. It seems, you have to be a Ram fan to know this. (or an opposing player)
McLeod is the most underrated player on the team. He's really improved the last couple of years.

Yes, McLeod has a little London Fletcher in him. And to think how it wasn't so long ago several posters were begging for his replacement in FA and the draft

#Rams Film: Donald continued to flash. Quickness, speed, power. He’s easily the best all-around DT in the NFL.

Donald had two unbelievable plays in the same drive that show why he's the best DT in football. 1st was where he practically took the handoff from McCown. 2nd was 2 plays later where he pancaked Bitonio on his way to getting a hit on McCown.

How on earth do you have a single player that has the speed to make play 1 and the power to make play 2, and the football IQ to read/react and make his physical gifts maximally disruptive? It's just not fair.
