Skow showing he can be a functional WR in the passing game is really, really intriguing to me. He's a big boy.. a willing blocker.. and seems to understand his role.

If he continues to attach himself to Kupp's hip this offseason, he could be a real contributor. The 11 grouping would be very, very effective with him Kupp and Woods or Jefferson. I like the idea of him out there with Jefferson and the Rams running PA and going deep to Jefferson.

A 7th round pick who looks like he could be an actual contributor. That's good stuff.

He looks pretty good. And while he's not super explosive he's decent at his route running and has some good hands. Say what you will, he has less drops than Jefferson.

How many more catches does Van have than him? You have to take the catch to drop ratio into account.

He looks more like a TE than a receiver. He looks slow. I hope he continues to develop and that he and Van work on using their hands to catch the ball and put in lots of reps on the highs machine next year.

I'm optimistic about Sko also.

Jefferson only had 220 yds his rookie year, but this year he's up to 702 and is on pace for many more.

Sko has 9 catches for 115 yds so far. If he can add to that total, he could definitely see a big jump in production next year.

A lot of options for Rams at WR next year, but great to have Sko as cheap insurance.

He's been nice, lets see what it translate to in the end after he continues to hone his craft before we put a gold jacket on him.

Gold Jacket?

I said he could be a "solid contributor"..
I feel like the "don't get too excited" reaction is a little to excited.

He made the team out of training camp, right? I mean.. I was not on the Skow train, at all. I completely missed on that one.
What I see is a guy willing to do the dirty work. The reason I like him in 11 is he's kind of another mini-TE, like Kupp..

Anyway, I just like that he contributes more, every game, and seems to be a smart, hard working player. And that the Rams got him in the 7th.

He’s been pretty good, especially considering his draft position. Easy guy to root for.

I think he’s more TE than WR, and I’d move him to that room.

I think Benny Skow is also a very smart football player. He's made some rookie mistakes this season but that will only help him develop. TE or WR doesn't matter to me... he does the dirty work and gets the job done. Excellent 7th round draft pick.

I've been banging the drum for this kid for a year now, and he's contributing more than I could ever imagine.
I still think they may bulk him up to be a TE, but as a #3/4 WR he definitely has a role. And while he doesnt have Reynolds speed, he's contributing more as a rookie than JR did

I'm in the "he should be in the TE" group. I thought that was the position he played at ND? Prob wrong, but yea, he looks and plays like a TE.

I need him to relax and get his feet under him. He looks clumsy out there. But it’s good that he’s getting lots of targets this early in his career.

I, for one, do not think he belongs with the TEs. He's a big WR, not a small TE.

Had one bonehead play on STs that didn't cost us... and one crushing hit on STs.

I like him. There's something about him that makes me very darn optimistic considering we got him so cheap in the 7th round. I feel like he'll turn out to be quite valuable no matter if it's at TE or WR. Me personally? I like him at WR and think he'll be a top level #4 WR, perhaps someday even a very solid #3 WR.

I think he just runs with a bit of a choppy style. It's not fluid like we see from smaller bodied receivers. With his size, I don't think he'll ever look smooth. He may always look more like a TE running a route. Such is probably going to be the case as he will likely always be a tweener. It would be very cool to really hit on a big bodied receiver that would almost always be a mismatch for defenses.

What's important to me is how defenses read him.. as a WR or TE.
If they read him as a WR? That's great news for run plays... and, I think, opens up play action even more.
If they read him as a TE? Well, I think he can get open against most safeties and LBs.

Intrigued on how he'll improve, like his work so far. Reminds me of a lovechild of Pete Hoolihan and Cooper Kupp, hope his arrow keeps pointing up.
