Has anyone heard an explanation for that shitshow? They were on the plus side of the field with potential to score and that happened. Was the guard picking his nose and Allen thought it was the signal or something? They were using the silent count right? So how do you have confusion, it should be more reliable than listening shouldn’t it.

I have not heard the explanation but when rewatching it I noticed that Corbet definitively gave Allen that hand movement signal thing.

So it’s clearly not Allen’s
Fault.

My best guess is Corbett thought Stafford gave a signal when Stafford maybe moved his hand but didn’t mean it for Corbett.

Still pissed about it. Corbs in general has annoyed the shit out of me of late.

I'm also really fucking tired of the Rams letting up. It's like they get a lead and stop competing. They take their foot off the gas. They need to get the 9ers down and kick their fucking asses in to the end. I mean do not change a thing. Run the score way up if the opportunity presents itself.

Luckily, since both the NFCCG and Super Bowl are at our house, we don’t have to worry about using the silent count again!!

Wait……………

I really don’t think they let up. This wasn’t like the 9er game. They had uncharacteristic errors and had to fight the momentum it generated for the GOAT QB.

I think that made that last drive so unpredictable, so short yet so sweet. I will never forget it.

I do think they had the foot on the gas more than they did vs the 9ers. That's the game McVay admitted they let up. But with the Bucs it felt like the team relaxed on the intensity and went into their bullshit prevent mode.

Thinking right now that the focus this week has been about that. About keeping mentally sharp and not letting up for a full 60. I am really fucking tired of this micro-trend of shitting away leads. Just because you have a big lead doesn't mean you can quit doing the work in the run game. Especially in the playoffs vs a team in the 9ers who use that run game to protect their shitty QB.

If we lose to the 9ers, again..... I'm sorry but I hate the 9ers and it will be hard to forgive the rams if they let shanny get the best of them....again. go rams. Ps. Been through a lot of disappointment with this team through the years, getting so close is almost as bad as 7-9 bullshit. Almost....

Rams need to hit them so hard, so often & so long, that they feel hits through the end zone, into the locker room, through the showers, on the bus, and all the way back to Santa Clara. And all into next week.
THEN the Rams can stop hitting them.

Merlin,
If you want something to be enraged about check out Corbett's attempt at pass blocking on the bomb to Kupp that won the game.
His girly boy whiff got Staff crushed by Mr. Suh and could very well have injured him.
Corbett is going to have to man up this weekend as the Whiners will be targeting him if he doesn't step it up.

Oh believe me I saw it. Corbs has focus issues or something man. He was much better early in the season, as we started facing better fronts the wheels started coming off.

The C & RG combination is where the 9ers routinely attack us and win. I am so over that shit. But at this point they just need to get Corbs' head on straight and focused in and get this shit done. Then go fix that hopefully in the offseason even if it's letting Corbs and Allen leave and installing a couple guys who have some strength to them.

I don’t think strength or lack of it came into play on that last play, it was almost like he shut his eyes. Even if Suh gets inside he should be able to drive him sideways a step or two.

Haven’t seen any PFF scores for our line but we are in the conference championship they must be doing some good things.

Strength matters vs SF. We need a physical group of dogs up front to handle these fools going forward. If we want to beat them.

Yeah that whiff would have been the talk of all off-season if we fumbled there or lost the game.
That whiff was really bad, true.

But looking on the bright side, did you see how many of the Bucs half-assed that play? I've seen double-digit breakdowns by multiple coaches/sources of that play, and I'm stunned at a few of the Bucs just watching like spectators instead of either blitzing or dropping into coverage.

It was so bad, it really looks like Stafford could have hit the underneath WRs as well, which would have set up a longer (but possible) FG. Just crazy that this was their season and they just assumed their comeback was complete and they won this game...

I also have been noticing Corbett getting eaten alive lately. Perhaps there's an undisclosed injury.

All I know is, Rams badly need to try and beef up the iOL.

Do you also have the PFF grades for our last 49'er game, that might be a better comparable for our upcoming game and where immediate improvement must be made. jmo.

Watching the replay again on NFL network.

First drive Oline looked good in pass pro, kind of lame hold called on a run play.

Corbett got pushed back second drive on a blitz second drive but there was dpi. Dumb design to allow Suh loose on the play where he got the penalty for being a pussy. Kupp decleated 45 on a run play.

First two drives were pretty dominant.

They had four fumbles that were not recovered I don't know if that's about letting up as much as it is about atrocious luck haha. They kicked Tampa's ass the entire game.
