Obviously it's pleasing that everyone is safe and well but the bit that caught my eye was the eyewitnesses name. Surely that has to be made up??!

Yeah, I am thinking that is a fake name. Perhaps something needed to stay in Vegas.
I love the pilot...."We have a little problem with the engine...."
If that were me the announcement would be more like...."There is a problem with an engine, if you look out your left hand widows you will see me, standing on the tarmac....youre on your own."
