This was a tough one. SF losing another game is sweet since we know how much Rams fans hate them. However, AZ losing and putting them in a tie for the division with us would be sweet!

In the end, I think a loss by SF is the better choice not only emotionally but division wise. Gives us some breathing room between them and Seattle. We control our destiny and need to beat AZ next time.

Fuck SF. Glad they lost and would have rooted against them if I was able to stomach that game. Rams are going to need to beat the Cards regardless so SF losing is good.

7 games before we play Arizona again...

@ Giants
Lions
@ Texans
Titans
@ 9ers
@ Packers
Jaguars

Rams should rack up a nice win total vs that lineup. And hopefully enter that game vs the Cards tied up at least for the division. Should be for all the divisional marbles IMO.

With the amount of media fellatio of Murray, I have had it up here with AZ.

That’s my hand up to my 6’3” height; Murray ain’t tall enough for this ride.

With that said, FrIsco can take the rest of the season off until it’s time for the Rams to deliver their beating.

Meteor strike.

Cardinals losing was the only smart play. They are now 2-0 in division. Rams can't get that 0-1 in division back.

Thanks to Minnesota missing that late FG, our Rams should be tied with them right now. They will fade like always!!

And I'm still wondering the over/under on Watt going down for the season...seems to me we should almost be there. Wk 6...Wk7 or 8?

No way he plays a full season.

Great insight from a Cards fan on Twitter as noted by local sports radio this morning in answer to their poll question about who should be MVP of the Cards-Niner game.

Dude tweets that Shanahan was his MVP after 3 of 4 failed 4th down attempts occurred when the Niners were in FG range.

Historically, there are three words missing from the media and fan base vocabulary here in AZ when sports teams start fast.

Pump the brakes.

And the Niners won't beat them with Lance again and only maybe with Garappolo. Likewise, SEA isn't beating them with Smith and maybe not even with Wilson.

One advantage we have is Ariz plays in Dallas while we get New York.

They also go to Cleveland where we go to Baltimore...that is more of a wash, but I prefer Baltimore over Cleveland.

Have to hope we win out in division and maybe they drop that Dallas gm or GB, while we need to beat GB.

I'm completely sold on their offense if Murray, Green, Moore, Edmunds remain healthy but not on their defense(pretty much how i feel about our team). Their run D is worse than ours. They've been opportunistic in terms of turnovers.

Then there's the Kingsbury factor and if he'll be able to adjust when defenses adjust.

Seems he's doing a better job coaching so far. Or maybe Murray is making it all look so easy...

Is there a single overall defense to be sold on in the NFL though? Probably outside of Buffalo?

I feel the same way, that all defenses are trending down...based upon nothing except the eye test watching games.

Of course we all know the NFL has been deliberately tweaking the game in that direction for many years now. Personally i don't like it, but i'm not the NFL's target audience, which is the casual fan and primarily the fantasy football Nation.

i know that a shitty niner win would put us in a tie for first but i just can't hope for a sosa niners win would rather have a root canal with no pain killer. it would be a toss up between my left and having to root for those sosa niner
