He's only two missed blocks by Richardson from being the starter in Detroit.

????
Meaning, RT is a concern and Bradford could get knocked out of his #1 role forcibly.

Keep in mind, they changed the rule on 3rd quarterbacks last year. You can actually have them on your game day roster without counting towards the 45 max. Another good reason to carry 3, and making Davies a lock to make the team, I would think.

Oh lol it's a reference to Stafford being injured a lot?

He got injured a lot because he was still a boy. The dude was literally legal to drink for barely a month at the time he was drafted. He wasn't developed physically enough to take poundings from NFL players. After the injuring and reinjuring of the right shoulder, he paid a visit to Dr. Andrews and went on a workout regimen over the lockout to bulk up and avoid injuries.

So there.

Nope. Pretty sure it was a reference to Sam's potential health hazards behind our OL, and in particular our RT...whomever that ends up being. You all (Detroit) just happen to be our week one opponent.

No, it's not a reference to Stafford.

Austin Davis, right now, is two missed blocks by Richardson (while Bradford is playing) from becoming the starter in Detroit, because Bradford will still be whiffing smelling salts by that time. In fact, it could have happened already, because Richardson almost got Bradford killed earlier.

Ah. So you all are saying Davis would leapfrog Clemons right away.
Probably not. At least I'm not saying that.

Well, that and a couple other things. Clemens is familiar with the system, has been around longer, and Davis just recently said he's not familiar or comfortable (entirely) with the playbook. Oh, and Fisher recently said there's no #2 QB controversy.
