The NFC West figures to be interesting again... We are mostly queued up for the draft, with all 4 teams legitimately in the mix.

Our Rams and Stafford. Returning a strong team. Clearly the favorite team around here.

Seattle has been mostly quiet, but seem poised to make a run draft day on offensive linemen to pasify Wussell. Or will they? Always tough, Seattle is maybe weaker now than in many years? Or at least the tension with Wussell seems to point to potential problems on the horizon.

Arizona seems to be going all-in with some aging players, strengthening their offensive line considerably on paper. But, there is a look of desperation with some of their moves... this team feels all about “how hot they start”. Start hot, they probably hang around and could be good... start cold... they crumple up and need to start over. Lots of dice rolled here. Big year for their regime.

SF is making a big move at QB. That’s worth watching. Big decision coming for them; get it right and they will be tough for years to come. Get it wrong, they will be hurting to recover. With 40 some odd free agents, this team figures to look a lot different in 2021 one way or another.

It sure looks like these 4 teams will be at least “good” in 2021. No cake walks. The draft should only add to the potential of each.

It's gonna get a lil more difficult to go 6-0 against them.....

I'm not worried by any of them this season. I think the hawks are trending downward and if the 9ers are playing with a rookie QB that doesnt scare me. I'd be worried about the 9ers long term though.

I expect the cardinals to be poor this year and for Kingsbury to be fired. I just havent seen anything from Murray that makes me think he is going to develop into anything particularly scary. The moves they have made would have made sense 5 years ago, but is anyone really scared of AJ Green now?

Murray is like Lamar Jackson

He can play great in some games against defenses that can't contain him in the box but if you have a defense that can keep him from running free - he sucks

I find the Rams to be most intriguing. One upgrade at the most important position should have a ripple effect throughout

I dont think I'm being a homer here, I think we should comfortably be the favourites for the division. The favourite doesnt always win obviously but I like where we are versus our divisional rivals heading in to this season.

To add, the Seahawks only have two picks in the top 200 I think? Something like that. so if they have more holes and offensive line then they're going to have trouble filling them if they didn't do so in free agency already.

With all the talk about Super Bowls the west is the ram’s main issue, Garapalo will be back at least for a year and the defense should be stout, I think losing to the niners 4 times was part of the reason Goff is in Detroit now.
the cards are hard to figure but I’m still lukewarm on Kingsbury. Despite all the stupidity about trading Wilson the Hags did win the west last year somehow.
It should be interesting though, the Rams know how to play Wilson and Murray and have pretty good success, the niners have had Goff’s number though, will the same strategy work against Goff and Stafford? How much will the offense change from last year?

I believe they have 3 draft picks TOTAL.

Kingsbury is getting desperate. I wonder if he’s fired if he’d join McVay or opt for a college return.

Minus a miracle I believe the Rams will go 4-2, possibly 5-1 in their division this year. The Cards have made moves that will make them competitive but still short. The Hawks will be the same, so the game up north is a toss up. Until McVay pulls up his sweatpants and doesn’t get out coached by Shanahan there is no telling how the 49er games go (if the Rams get swept pitch forks and flame are acceptable).

Agreed. I said last year unless the Rams had a winning record in their division they don’t belong in the playoffs. So they went 3-3 and beat the Seahawks and proved me wrong. We all know the Rams underachieved last year despite making the playoffs. They have begun to address the areas of underachievement (QB, deep threat WR) but need to continue (strengthen OL/ILB, find another EDGE) and refill some new holes (CB/S depth, TE2). I think a couple FAs will be needed as well as some significant contributions from the some of the draft.

This is the lowest the shitbirds must be feeling in a long time. And I love it. Let a few of their DBs go, and they also let go of Jarran Reed, who's a really good player. They got DK and Tyler Lockett and who else for Russel? Our guy Gerald Everett. I aint worried about these guys.

Every year. They've taken the crown from the Browns of being the offseason champions. Hire a young college coach, pair him with a small running QB, trade for a top WR...and it all led to 8-8.

I just hope the Rams stomp a mudhole and walk it dry with these dolts.

How much will the offense change from last year?
McV stated in a recent zoom that it will change based upon Stafford's strengths, and i would assume that it will evolve beyond that based on how the defenses adapt.

The Rams are due another division title. I expect a much better offense with more big plays and a defense that takes a small step back (from #1 overall) which is fine. ST's improvement would be nice but i'm not so sure it happens.

Arizona seems to be in save jobs mode(Keim & Kingsbury) and hope they can just get a #7 seed and have to re-tool again next year....and the year after that...and so on.

SF is relying on existing strong talent and a transition at QB. They're hangover season is over so i'd expect them to be back and a tough out this year.

I feel like the groceries are slowly running out in Seattle but Wilson is still a master chef.

There was a time when Seattle had the best quarterback in the division. No debate about it. Now the Rams have a guy who is in the mix for the best quarterback in the division. Most their core guys are returning. JJ woulda been nice to keep but its not a deal breaker. He's pretty good but far from elite.

We lost Reynolds and Everett but those guys were not difference makers. Looks like We're gonna lost Blythe. But some might call that addition by subtraction. I think Stafford makes us the favorites. We woulda been a legit playoff contender with Goff. But now we are a legit Superbowl contender with Stafford.

Seattle lost some key free agents, don't have much CAP, and only have 3 draft picks, ... and none in the first round. The Russell Wilson saga will affect morale.
The Rams win the division, Seattle finishes 2'nd and SF/AZ will fight it out for 3'rd place. jmo.
