Travon Jones is an electrifying dual threat player who has dominated in the backfield as well as kick returns. His quickness and vision has led him to putting up big numbers in his college career. Travon gained 1074 all purpose yards in his senior season even in the absence of a position coach. Travon is a back who expects to get in the end zone every time he touches the ball.
Prior to Sacramento State: Played two years at Fresno City JC…rushed for 569 yards on 102 carries as a freshman to lead the team…played in nine games as a sophomore and ranked second on the team…led FCC in punt returns with an average of 9.7 yards per return.
High School: Graduated from Bullard HS in Fresno, Calif., in 2004…played in the 2005 City-County All-Star Game…team went 7-5 his senior season and advanced to the second round of the Central Section playoffs.
Personal: Born 12-18-86…major in finance…son of Mark White and Shealon Hilliard-White.
