Are we better at third pass catcher than the media thinks?

I dunno, I seem to have read a helluva lot more comments about Ferguson than any other TE.

If there’s somebody being forgotten, it’s Colby Parkinson. He was third in receptions last year.
NO COLBY PARKINSON ERASURE!!

(No one has time to go back and look at his snaps but he's turned into a very good Y TE in this system. Yes, he's not terribly athletic and can run only a limited route tree but he's great as an outlet receiver for the offense and does a wonderful job blocking in line - next to the tackle - for us.)

People seem to think a perceived good draft all of sudden changes a team from bottom feeder to contender. "You see their draft? They're a playoff team now!" Then the team proceeds to go 6-11. The odds of a single rookie making that much difference is small. Maybe in a couple years he becomes an all pro. Maybe not.

A good draft still requires good coaching and the right system. This is why we have been so successful

Really important, people won't play a ton more 13 since you need the horses. We pivoted cause we have the horses! Def see a bunch more 12 though.

Probably get a lot of irrelevant ""Jet jokes" out of this but i'm thinking they could be a "13" team as well. 2 highly drafted Tight Ends last 2 Drafts. 3 good tight ends total. Would make sense for them, excellent Running Back, a good young Offensive Line on the come.

Yeah def a possibility though one of the issues with 13 personnel is that you really need 4 TEs. You can't spend all week(s) installing plays for a formation you're going to use only to not be able to use it if one injury hits. It would wreck your game plan that week.

We should def see an uptick in it but nothing like Rams running it 40% - to do that you'll need to have the 4 TEs for sure. Jet's could possibly be one of those teams.

I do think the use of 12 is gonna explode from last year though.
