The Seahawks thread has been a good read.

There are overlapping points already made in that thread, but let’s talk the Cardinals…

They have a new GM and HC.

It sounds like Hopkins will be traded before the draft. A 2nd rounder?

Their draft position #3 has them in RIPE position for trade down. Many Cards fans expect it. So… we know they will have some draft picks. Premium draft picks.

Kyler Murray has a franchise QB contract, but he will miss games entering the 2023 season recovering from ACL injury. How does he jive with the new offense, when he does return? His new HC?

We have our challenges, but so do the Cardinals.

What do you think about the Cardinals right now, pre-draft?

Well, it all depends on the health of the Los Angeles Rams. I don't like expecting players that have proven to be unavailable throughout their careers to depend on them to suddenly being available each and every week.

If they don't somehow blow-it, this Arizona draft could be top notch. Trading down that 1'st (#3 overall) should bring an abundance of additional high picks.

With Murray at QB, they have a chance to win any single game.
With Murray at QB they will not win consistently.

Rams are in a better position than Cards.

It will be close. Their defense should be better than ours. But I doubt they'll have the offense we should have. I think the division might end up the same order as last year with us at 3rd.

And they probably won't have Murray at QB until mid season or later.

Honestly, I’m curious asf to see how this next coach is going to go and see what he has in store and what strategies and norms he employs.

They are going to get some value more than likely from that #3 pick which increases the likelihood of getting good cheap talent which isn’t good for us.

Between them and the gulls that’s going to be a lot of picks to build talent up for them.

There will be no long-term success with a Bidwell in charge.

The Cards have a crybaby kid for QB, enough said.

Kyler is overrated even when he's not pouting.

I get the sentiment about trading down but with Anderson 8n their sites why risk it unless they trade down to a max of 5th - 7th which won't net them that much more versus losing an opportunity to get the best DE or DT.
