I recall hearing that Fisher asked to increase our coaching salary pool when he was hired so that he could attract the staff he wanted, but I never heard anything further. I was just wondering the other day about how much our staff costs the team?... and how that might compare with other NFL team's coaching staff costs. Anyone have any info on this? Appreciate your responses.

I'm not sure, but I did read once where Kroenke really emptied his pockets so that Fisher could assemble the staff he wanted.

Not sure what the assistants make either, but I'll try to find out.

Not sure of the total number, however, one of the items Fisher insisted on was to have funds available to hire top quality assistant coaches because he felt limited in that area by Titan owner Bud Adams...Enos Stanley "Stan" Kroenke agreed to Fisher's request and that is why the Rams have the likes of DL Coach Mike Wauffle, OL Coach Paul Boudreau and QB Coach Frank Cignetti as position coaches to post a few.

Ask Miami, money + Sam Bradford = priceless.

So, Fish makes $7M per yer. You gotta think that the coordinators are each making $1M per year, and the top position coaches making $1/2M per year. So, gotta be around $10-12M per year in coaches salaries, wouldnt ya think?

PS. I find it hysterical that Jim makes $1M more per yr than his brother, SB winning HC John Harpuke.

The more I look into the staff we have, I realize we have a pretty damn good coaching staff!
