Anyone growing a “quarantine look”?

The article at the bottom of this post inspired the topic... and the fact I’ve cut my own hair 2x already just trying to keep close to the “last hair cut template”

My wife has obviously shut her salon down during this shit... so now, I can finally get an appointment whenever I want. So this is the exact opposite of what I normally have to deal with. The hair on the top of my head has never had it so good.

My beard is a different story. I decided that I wouldn't trim my beard until this shit is over. It's getting pretty gnarly.... and I don't care.

I've never had short hair. Always kept it at a combable length. When it starts to get that 80's look I get it cut. Its now at that 80's look and I can't get it cut. I have very straight hair with a slight wave at the end when it gets longer. I comb it forward and cut the ends so it doesn't hang too far over my forehead. I hate when it does that. I also use my beard trimmer to keep it off my ears.

If I had my way I'd just buy some clippers and buzz cut the whole thing. Low maintenance. But Mrs. Snack is dead set against it. She says I've always kept my hair real nice and I'd look totally different without it. Its getting to be a pain in the ass though. I'm wearing a baseball cap more often these days.

Funny thing. I have had a beard for a year and shaved off 5 inches in length to stable two days ago. My girlfriend hates it. Thankfully old man beard grows quickly now lol

My GF is a cosmetologist and cuts hair for a living (well she did in Mexico). All the neighbors found out and they are at the door constantly. She doesn't have her AZ license so it's limited to just family and close friends. She doesn't charge and really limits it to the doctors, nurses, EMT's and Military buddies of my nephew.

You can really tell the difference between living in a Red vs Blue state. The vast majority of the people here don't take it seriously. Kinda scary in reality.
