Any chance we can play them again but not, you know, trot out the same gameplans that have failed against these guys time and time again?

Really, what looks all that different about this loss to the 49ers from the last loss ... or the loss before that ... or before that?

It's fucking groundhog day in these games.

Part of me wants McVay to have a Groundhog Day and to have to coach that game over and over and over… until he gets it right…

this always shitting the bed against them is old.

That would make for a very funny movie.

Our only hope for this is to have the NFL split NFC/AFC into North and South conferences with the Mason-Dixon line going straight thru San Luis Obispo. Then we'd only play them once every 4 years.

We'd be in a division with the Raiders, Chargers and the Cardinals. I could live with that.

What was the biggest game we could have beaten the 49ers in?

Never mind....

we already did that.

when I used to play in dart tournaments. it always seemed like I drew Gus Rubella in my bracket and we always ended up meeting each other in either the 1/4 finals or semi finals and he always beat me.

Finally one year we met in the finals and he was a cocky fuck.. even said congrats on 2nd place before the match.

beat him easily , taking him out in 3 games (best of 5)

never did beat him again until another finals match

We already tried that. It just takes McVay three times in the same season to realize how to beat them.

Nothing at all.

Championship game was the only time I recall that we changed up the defense and it ultimately worked.

Yeah! Lots of short memories. 49 ers are unbeaten against the Rams the last three Regular seasons. Rams are undefeated against the 49ers in the NFC Championship.

Poor tackling 3rd conversions long drives terrible angles dropped passes turnovers making Garropolo look like joe montana mixed with Brady making Deebo Samuel look like Earl Campbell and Gale sayers all in one.. making Kittle look like john mackey in his prime.. its sick and fucking ridiculous makes me want to puke watching Ramsey drop picks and Stafford and Goff throw picks.. watching them run it down our throats while our backs cant get out of the backfield... sorry its boiled over.. 8 is enough fuck it.

It's aggravating losing to these fuckers but I would never give them the satisfaction of being afraid of their team. They have a lot of great pieces, one of the best rosters in the league except for QB. Which just so happens to matter a ton. Jimmy can't play us 4x in the playoffs.

So their demise this season will be very enjoyable.

I can live with that.

How great would it feel beating the 9ers in the playoffs again this year?

I could see it happening. As long as Rams make the playoffs.

How sweet it would be.
