I don't believe his wife would let him. He's now got a fabulous S.B. Ring and is probably being paid more money by Amazon than the Rams could dream of matching. The Rams have more problems than just missing Big Whit, ... I say let him enjoy his new life. jmo.

And on top of that Boom is not the problem on the OL. No, he's not as good as Whit, but he hasn't been a liability like the interior has.

I don’t think Whit would return for this team in this condition. We just kicked the OL can down the road for waaayy too long.

Right now I'm sure Whit's feeling it with the guys as if he was with them. But in the back of his mind, in the secret spaces, I am also sure he is glad he got out when he did.

Whit is that guy who made all the right calls in his career. Pretty amazing and he may even end up with a movie and may it be produced far better than that of 13.

I may be wrong but Noteboom was the only one I don't remember seeing missing blocks horribly. Not saying he was all pro level but the rest of the guys were really bad.

Why would Whit want to come back to this shit show? If he was a guard or center, then I might be all for it.

I think we gave big Whit a ton of credit while he was here and still undervalued his contribution. This OL is completely lost without his talent and leadership

I'm kinda pissed by this thread. Dude DESERVES his retirement. The Rams lack of planning is not his problem.

If I were Andrew Whitworth I would stay away from this team as far as he can for the rest of the season.

I agree with @OldSchool that Joseph Noteboom is not the issue with this OL. The left OG & OC are the two main problem posts in this current OL.

I do believe that AW might help this OL @ the LG post where David Edwards & Bobby Evans have been playing. One might recall AW started the first 3 seasons starting @ LG for the Bengals.

It would highly irregular for an NFL team NOT to have issues with their OL after the loss of FOUR of the top interior OL'er due to injury. (Logan Bruss/ Brian Allen/ Tremayne Anchrum/ Coleman Shelton)

Just how many years of ultra-high draft capital was utilized to get a veteran QB & then put him behind an OL like the Rams put on the field when the game came to its end?

However, when a team ensures that it will depend heavily on OG's like Bobby Evans & David Edwards to lead their OL ....it may point to a problem with the current Organization!

The last one is a bullshit article.

McVay and Snead were not laughing at the Patriot pick.

McVay and Snead were laughing at themselves for thinking that Strange might fall to them in the third round.

Sorry love Big Rob but those theatrics won't cut it and he himself has been pretty awful. I do think in his defense he probably trying to do much trying to help the guard next to him but also stop his guy. Like mcvay said got to help Stafford that's a big time cry for help rt there.

And big Rob answered the cry. Give the guy a chance before you write him and the rest off. A player on the most maligned unit on the team is making an effort lets not just ignore that. This is a good move a leadership move.

I'd rather hear about a brutal meeting between McVay & Carberry about our interior OL than some nonsensical attempt by Havenstein to correct the problem. jmo.

I applaud it and appreciate it but knowing what we know a rally the troops speech can only go so far it's clear crystal clear it's a skill issue and Mcvay basically said as much. I'm all for anything that helps but I'm staying the obvious and hopefully we can rally and at least get to 3-3 with the bye giving us a shot to do something to help Big Rob. As I wrote in the 2nd part of that old school I said his play may be off due to taking on to much his job and the guy next to him. Trying to do 3 jobs I understand. You know me better than that brother.
