He needed to step up and make a difference when Brees went down. Didn't do it.
Part of what made Kamara so dangerous was that he was the lightning in that lightning and thunder combo. He’s not a workhorse back.
Rams run defense really stepped up today to hold Kamara down. Mathews and Weddle are making a difference. The entire defense has stepped it up against the run.
Rams upgraded big time at safety. It's gonna matter if we see them again in the playoffs.

I noticed that Joseph-Day stuffing up the middle on a few plays, which was a nice change from what we saw last week.
I think Weddle made a big diff against Kamara making sure DBs and LB were in position. Great pick up and might be the diff maker in the playoffs.
D line played a hell of a game and the LBs did too. They really showed up against a great Oline and an incredibly talented RB.
I agree that the Weddle Rapp and Matthews additions really help vs the run.

Taylor Rapp was a stud today. He's going to be a special player for us. He's not just great in man coverage against TEs and HBs, but he's also a great tackler in the open field. He cleaned up multiple plays today after our initial tackler missed.
yeah, going forward, that tandem of JJ3 and Rapp are going to give us the best young tandem in the league with Weddle playing Mastermind back there until the young guns are coached up.
