Green Bay has allowed 6 sacks on the season - the same as the Rams (woo hoo) and tied for 7th-best in the NFL so far in 2015.

On the other side of the ball, Green Bay's defense has racked up 17 sacks themselves, tied for 2nd-best in the NFL with... our Rams.

Both teams have a 1:1 passing TD allowed:interception rate (Rams D has allowed 3 TDs and picked off 3 passes, GB has allowed 4 and picked 4).

Surprisingly, on offense this year Green Bay is only 20th in passing yards (Rams 27th), but that may be because they convert the best (#1 passing TDs with 11, Rams are tied for 21st with 5). And on rushes, Green Bay has the 3rd most yards while we're tied for 22nd, but week 4 netted us nearly half of our total yards on the ground this year.

GB's ground game can be described as relentless but not explosive... their long on the year is 35 yards (Rams' is 52) and they've gotten into the endzone via the rush twice (same as Rams).

One MASSIVE challenge for us: the Packers offense does not turn the ball over. Zero interceptions. Zero rushing fumbles. One fumble lost by a receiver.

This will be a challenging game, but there's a lot of things that we do just as well as the Packers. This should, if we come out and play with fire, be fun to watch.

The worst thing about this matchup is the bend-but-don't-break BS isn't gonna fly. Why? Rogers. He's on a different level man, if you give that dude 5 trips to the redzone he IS going to get points and probably too many for the Rams to overcome. Rams gotta get him in 3rd and long early in drives and get the F off the field as much as possible.

So right out the gate I'll say that in order to win this game our defense--which has not peaked as of yet--has to play their best ball of the season. This will be the toughest matchup for them this season, no doubt about it. It's gonna be rough and they're gonna give up some points too, simply because the Packers are that good on offense and will isolate on the absence of Ogletree, as well as pick on Joyner. So the play of Ayers/Barron/Joyner factor pretty large here IMO.

As to the offense it's all about the run game. GB does not have a great defense, it's a unit built to play with a lead. If the Rams come out there and hit 'em in the mouth and feed Gurley there's a good chance they'll be able to extend drives and keep that great offense off the field.

I'm looking forward to seeing what this team is made of. Going to AZ and then GB is probably gonna be what the playoffs look like for the Rams IF they play well enough to finally get in. Let's see what they've got.
