No one has mentioned GZ in the post game threads.

The dude went 1/3 in FGs and is 2/7 in the last 2 games.

The Rams offense isn't prolific enough to leave points on the field, as we found out vs Green Bay. The misses this week didnt affect the out come off the game as they did 2 weeks ago, but is it time to bring a kicker for a try out, or maybe just a sports phycologist to help him with the mental part of the game?

Well I can't blame him for misses over 60 yards. But that 35 yarder or whatever it was is no bueno. Especially after all the misses against Green Bay. His leg is dangerous but it doesn't matter if he can't be consistent. He's got to be better the rest of the season.

He has slumps. Nothing wrong with his power. That first miss yesterday was long enough for a 70+. But dang, as you said Rhody, this offense can ill afford to leave points on the field like that.

He needs to get it fixed...nao.

I think GZ is better than the free agent options but if he doesn't correct himself soon, he might force our hand. We can't afford funny business from our kicker if we expect to compete for a playoff spot.

He will miss that random 35-40 yarder. I still love his leg for long FGs and for Touch Backs. If anything, he will be cheaper to resign with his misses. He WILL hit a 65+ yarder. Book it.

Rams will probably draft another kicker tbh. Fish will stick with him the rest of the season, but GZ has those annoying lapses and I'd rather have a kicker with a normal leg who has icewater in his veins during critical moments than a high talent guy who chokes.

It's a recurring them tbh. Not saying GZ is Cook, but he's obviously not fully living up to his enormous potential.

Understand the concern.
More concerned about needing him.
Just kidding....sort of.

Besides the one kick yesterday, how many has he missed this season under 50 yards? I think just the one. If that's the case I think we are being a little too hard on the guy.

Not being hard on him. I like Greg. He just needs to figure out how to be more consistently accurate. He tends to have slumps from time to time. The points we didn't score in GB were the difference. We don't play the Browns every week. Serious question: Do we have a sports psychologist on staff?

He should just aim left on the 63 yarders.
Seriously! He seems to miss consistently. That, or slice that mfer in there. Ha ha

It seems at that level such a head game. But at that level, like the pro billiard players that I admire, you are just supposed to make those shots. That's why they're pros and I'm not!

Too lazy to check, but I'm pretty sure ALL of his misses are wide right, (with the exception that always proves the rule) - seems correctible. Bottom line - I'm cool with geezee. When we lose a game on a missed fg, I'll be pissed. Now - we got much bigger problems.

Well, I could be in the minority here but GZ scares me. I just don't have much confidence in him. I always think he's gonna miss, and I think it's because he just doesn't have a confident "air" about him. He looks like a nervous Nelly, which makes ME nervous....
