Our defensive line will wreck Palmer even though their running game will be fairly effective. The Cards won't be prepared for a couple new wrinkles Boras has been waiting to introduce. Cooper's role will be revealed and when the Cards adjust, Gurley will be unleashed.

Once this happens, most of us fans will be joined by the bandwagon types that will fuel the fire that this team has turned the proverbial corner.

But I won't be fooled. This team is getting better but the unusual health is an aberration. There are at least six guys who are irreplaceable. If one domino tumbles, the rest will fall. This team is a year away but is steadily improving.

Sure this is speculation but that's my prediction, for better or worse.

This game will be huge for mindset - we will be 3-1 and in the drivers seat for the division or we will be 2-2 and look like a typical .500 team. It's only one game but man it feels bigger than that.

I was thinking the same earlier today. 3-1 sounds like a good team, while 2-2 feels... eh.

I am dying for some proof this isn't the same damn story. A win would most certainly provide it!

We need this win. We need to prove this isn't another year where we'll start slow and then hover around .500 all year.

Keenum, keep us in first until Goff takes over.(which is hopefully soon)

It's difficult to get a read on this team with the offense still trying to establish their identity. There is more consistency on defense, although that can be improved eve more. With The Leg displaying consistency and Johnny being Johnny, our special teams unit is probably the top unit on the Horns.

This game is as good as any to see The Mighty One bust out. Aaron will be Aaron, but hopefully Brockers can recapture his old disruptive self to re-solidify the front line. I don't know how many snaps EJ can go, but getting him back in the starting lineup should help steady what has been an unstable secondary.

Everybody and his|her grandmama is waiting to see the Express! morph into that proverbial runaway train. After a nervous opener where he admittedly over-prepared, Case is settling down more consistently in his role as game manager. He just has to spread the rock around more consistently & effectively to force defenses to play more honestly . . . and allow Todd to be unleashed.

A win against the Cards will be a huge confidence booster and will prove to our players and the league that we can play with anybody week in and week out. This isn't the same ole Rams. I feel different about this team compared to years past.

I don't see any reason to pump the brakes if the team wins, unless you are superstitious and think it will jinx the team. If they win just sit back and enjoy it.

This is a different team. They are playing inspired football on defense, can't wait for that to carry over to the o-lines run blocking.

The 2006 team started off 4-1 before finishing with an 8-8 record. Just another example of why we need to keep our heads. I'll be damn happy if we get to 3-1 but I just hope this team can focus on the opponent in front of them and not overlook any one. I'm praying we come out firing on all cylinders tomorrow. Maybe it's me, but I don't feel like drinking any Kool-Aid yet. A win tomorrow will sure help though.

I get the whole it would only be 3-1, there still a lot of games to be played, stuff, but ya'll know how hard it is trying to convince your friends the cards and seahawks arent as good as the media makes them out to be. Same with the way the media always hates on the Rams. A 3-1 start with a nice lead in the division would go along way for me personally, and I plan to take full advantage of it. Hopefully it continues so I dont look like a fool at the end of the season, but either way, ill cherish this time while I can to the max

If they go 4-1, with tiebreakers for both the Cards and Hawks, will we still be calling for Goff or letting him come into his own like a good wine?

I'm so debating that... Been constantly flipping back and forth on that exact scenario man!

So far... Idk :/
