The Rams have come a long, long way. But they are still a work in progress.

They can play with anybody now. But they still have their flaws. Flaws that are fatal when playing the likes of the Eagles.

But here’s the thing...

They’re learning. Both the coaches and the players. And they’re getting better.

They sure have their fair share of injuries. Then again, other teams have as many, or even more.

So, I’m not so bummed about this loss to the Eagles.

These games are but baby steps for the Rams. Soon they will be running.

I don’t know how far they’ll go this season. I’m guessing that they will win the division and maybe even a playoff game. I dunno.

But I do think that we’ve seen a glimpse of the future already this season. In a season, maybe two, this team will be a force to be reckoned with in this league.

Holes will be filled.
Penalties will decline.
Playcalling will be consistently effective.
Rough edges (and players) will be sanded smooth.

Bank it.
