Agree, but since it’s here & was going to post this same article?

I’ll just go back to a thought & how this game effected Mcvay as he was pissed & frustrated by everything around him. When Gino spiked the ball in front of him he just about lost it.

I don’t care except it kept Goff out of the Playoffs when Detroit beat GBay at GBay. That would have been a more exciting game. Goff going back home to play the 9ers.

Not enough outrage though to prompt owners into improving officiating from the current status quo

What drives me crazy is they have New York reviewing all penalties and reviews. What I don't understand is why new York can't call into their headsets and correct bad calls. At this point the human element of mistake can be corrected on the fly without interrupting the game. It's bonkers

I really dont think they care that much. It doesnt effect their bottom line at all. Unless they spend more on officiating. So nothing changes.

They do that frequently when it fits the plan.

The league has done this other years. It’s not a mistake. It’s them telling officials how to steer the game to insure the bigger market teams can make it to the playoffs.

They only care which teams draw more viewers.

I'd like not to believe that
I would too but I have seen plenty of times where the league office calls it in before the refs on the field even go to see the video.

Reality is the current system isn’t working and when there are games like that one where the teams don’t determine the outcome it’s hard to have faith in them.

The NFL needs to figure this out.
There is absolutely no reason the NFL couldn't just call in and tell the officials that Ramsey didn't commit and personal foul and to call a penalty on Metcalf. It's different on calls that could go either way but those were both obviously the wrong decisions
