A look at Rams' picks in 2015 draft

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- Earlier this week, it was brought to my attention that there was confusion about which picks the St. Louis Rams hold in the 2015 NFL draft.
That confusion is a product of a series of trades the Rams have made in recent years in which they've acquired or dealt multiple future picks.
2015 NFL DRAFT
NFL DraftRound 1: April 30, time TBA
Rds. 2-3: May 1, TBA
Rds. 4-7: May 2, TBA
Where: Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Chicago
As it stands, the Rams currently hold five selections in this year's draft though there are some that aren't in the same range as their first-round pick, the choice that comes at No. 10 overall.
Here's the entire round-by-round breakdown of the Rams' selections (compensatory picks will be awarded in March so we are going to avoid putting the overall number of the pick on any choices beyond Round 3):
First round: One pick, No. 10 overall (original pick)
Second round: One pick, No. 9 in the round, No. 41 overall (original pick)
Third round: One pick, No. 8 in the round, No. 72 overall (original pick)
Fourth round: No picks. The Rams traded their fourth-round selection to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the season in exchange for safety Mark Barron. Their pick, the 10th pick of the round, belongs to the Bucs.
Fifth round: One pick, No. 9 in the round (original pick)
Sixth round: No picks. The Rams traded their sixth-round selection to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the season in exchange for safety Mark Barron. Their pick, No. 8 in the round, belongs to the Bucs.
Seventh round: One pick, No. 32 in the round (acquired from New England). This is where much of the confusion seems to come in. The Rams traded their original seventh-round choice to Atlanta in the 2013 draft day deal in which the Rams moved down from No. 22 in the first round to No. 30 overall. In that deal, the Rams also received a third-round pick and a sixth-round choice while they gave the Falcons their 2015 seventh-round pick to swap first-round spots. The Rams drafted linebacker Alec Ogletree with the 30th pick.
Alas, the Rams also already held a seventh-round choice in the 2015 draft from a 2012 trade in which the Rams sent receiver Greg Salas to New England for the future pick. That's the pick the Rams hold here.
Keep in mind, while this is the last of the regular selections in the draft, there will be compensatory selections that follow so this choice is not Mr. Irrelevant.
