Maybe we should have a sticky dedicated to good Rams vids. Kinda like the media fallout after a win, but permanent. I see a lot of good stuff out there but would hate to post a thread every time. Anyhow, this is worth a watch...

Main takeaway from this vid is how talented Stafford is at "looking off" the DB. Using his eyes and shoulders to fool the defenders.

This skill takes McVay's scheme up to a whole new level.

So yeah. A good QB is apparently very valuable to the offense.

Also, chipping the ends out of empty is fantastic, I'm not sure I've seen that before but it's so stupid simple, I'm sure teams have been doing it.

I've watched this guy breakdown games and teams for years and I've never seen such superlatives like this, almost like he was a Rams fan. He's genuinely just a fan of the game and the nuances involved. Between him, Orlavsky, and Baldy...the best analyst are over the top impressed with the Rams. Hell, even Sims is singing praises not only about Stafford, but the Rams defense as well.

In the press, this feels like early '99. I don't want to waste this relish...

Yes, I am soaking it all in while I can. I hope the Rams aren't paying any attention though.

I have to say that everything has been awesome this year even though I do grumble at the 10 yards cushion they have been giving other teams

I am really hyped about this team

All I can say is that it's obvious how much better Stafford is than the QB we had last year. I mean most everyone who isn't a trollish dick liked the kid and wanted to see him succeed.... but the truth is that he hes nowhere near as good as #9.
That said, I still root for John Wolford and wish him well... [blue font]

That is a perfect example why McVay wanted Stafford. He not only has the ability and intelligence to keep defenders guessing, he's got the elite arm to make those throws. Honestly, that ability to me ranks him up there with guys like Mahomes and Rogers. It also helps that he has legit weapons and a coach who understands how to take advantage of all that he has to offer.

How do you like our chances for partying like it's 1999 in the last game of the season? :laugh1:

45%. While we might just have the best team, injuries, penalties, and luck are such huge factors for me to go higher at week 4.

Ricky Proehl's catch in the NFC Championship game had a low probability of succeeding and without it, we don't win that game.

Yikes, 2 more fumbles in the first half. Maybe that hand size thing means something.
