I'm just as sick as everyone else about this embarrassment on national tv last night but its over and I'm still and will always be a rams fan. a couple of things I noticed when I wasn't turning my head in disgust was.

1. I don't know if RG Brown got hurt or they were sick of him getting beat but Witchman came in and played some then they put Brown back in. Did anyone notice if they were rotating them every other series or what? I didn't watch close enough to see who was in on every series.

2. The D played as good as one could expect when they were on the field for 95% of the game. The only negitive I have is Coty Sensebaugh got beat like a drum. Hopefully Gains will be back this week if not put Hill in he can't be any worse.

3. I thought Higbee was supposed to be one of the few on this team that had sure hands? He couldn't catch a cold last night but it didn't help that all his routes were 5 yard drags with all 11 defenders being 5 yards or closer it makes it a little tough.

4. I thought the Rams would just maybe not get screwed every week by the Zebras with the NFL wanting the move back to LA go over good but I was wrong. Fuck the refs.

5. There is no reason to not play Goff this week. There is no possible way that he could play any worse then Case did last night. He needs to get all the experience he can, he could have at least saved us the embarrassment of getting shut out on national TV. I'm sure Stan will be at the opener this week against the Seachickens if Fisher starts Case again and were getting blown out I would hope goes down at half time and escorts Fisher out of the building Ive seen enough.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when Stan had a few words in the locker room with Fisher after the game last night. Fisher wasn't going to tell the media anything Stan had to say, couldn't believe a reporter tried to get him to spill the beans. My imagination is running wild. But apparently Stan was still in the locker room when Fisher was giving his press conference. I find it hard to believe that Fisher wasn't fired on the spot in front of everyone in that room last night. Anyone, including Keenum, that had anything to do with the play calls last night should have been sent packing along with Fisher.
I was right there with you on number 4. It is a big opportunity for the NFL and all of the owners to have the Rams succeed this year. Defensive linemen being tackled to the ground for an 8 yard TD run up the middle. How the F*** was that not called? But nothing has been called against other teams this year, I just thought it was because of pre season, guess not.
Although I agree with #5, IF the problem is solely the play calling, not sure Goff will succeed any better in a Horizontal pass offense, whatever the F*** that is. But yes, he won't do any worse, he may get benched for throwing past 5 yards though, cause Case is the man.
#3 Higbee looked good last night except for the time that he was on the field.
#2 you forgot to mention how great Joyner looked, he was no help either in the passing game, unless he was supposed to help out SF.

I noticed Wichman in as well...I think the first play he was in resulted in Gurly's longest run of the night....He looked a lot better than J.Brown, but Brown was back in the next series and I don't recall seeing Wichman back in. I've said it in other posts...until Fisher either hires an experienced OC or is forced to, nothing will change

Yes, they were rotating them in and out. Not sure if it was every other series or what but it definitely kept happening. It is baffling to say the least. Sticking with a starting o-line has been a problem every year Fisher has been here not counting injuries.

I found the snap count % they pretty much split it right down the middle.

#3 receiver on the field for 50% of the plays!? I posted earlier about the lack of lining anyone in the slot and here is the proof. The Rams are literally not even lining up as if they may throw more than 5 yards downfield! In todays NFL I bet the percentage is like 80% having someone line up there.

I mean we are not even trying to pretend we might do it. Mind blowing. Higbee should be lined up there and if you dont think he can do it put in Spruce. I only seen a little bit of Spruce in the preseason but he may have the best hands on the team.

Lining up in twin sets is like running a high school offense.

Brown obviously needed more time before he broke his leg, and the time off from breaking the leg didn't help any. I'm guessing their easing him back in.

I noticed when Davis came in after the half McDonald dropped down to SS and tore it up. when MO was in there he played FS and MO sucked last night. MO came back in later in the 2nd half and made a piss poor attempt and took the wrong angle for the big pass play SF had.

I think it took Ogletree a bit to settle in at the middle, but he got better as the game went on. I don't believe the coaches had him ready for the scrambling though.
